Due to the snow, I had the whole store to myself with two people helping me. I looked at about a dozen shoes and came home with three pairs very much. Enjoyed the experience.

Large selection of odd sized shoes. Extremely helpful staff. Good prices. Between husband and I we purchased 5 pairs of shoes 👟.

Nice, clean, and well laidout store, offering quality merchandise. Unfortunately, their machine that helps fit you wasn't working. My husband was able to find a nice jacket though. The staff did a great job helping us! Thanks guys!

Dear Merrell,

The only athletic shoe that fits me was discontinued, so I went to REI last month to find a replacement. The sneakers I sought to replace were a men’s size 8; REI no longer stocks these sizes. My body was really suffering from improper footwear. My ability to walk was greatly diminished. Exercise is an essential part of my self-care routine, so I was getting worried.

My massage therapist told me to go to the Merrell outlet-I didn’t even know we had one in Santa Fe. A family member and I went there today and made the acquaintance of the store manager ,Averey. He went out of his way to accommodate us, immediately letting us know that a special was going on. I’ve been in high-end retail for more than forty years. If service is not up to par, I never go back.; if it is, I become a lifelong customer. But Averey was much more than up to par…Averey set the bar. He displayed excellent listening skills, deep product knowledge, frequent upselling in a way that truly benefits the customer, patience, amiability, resourcefulness, intelligence, and the ability to seamlessly serve several customers at a time.

We were in the store for two hours and I was already tired when we arrived. But Averey’s steady focus actually invigorated me to the point where I was able to try on at least twelve pairs of shoes and still hang in there. I selected three pairs for purchase, as did my companion.

I asked Averey if Merrell’s compensation matched his qualifications (I know many local shop owners who are looking for good people), but he demonstrated loyalty and tact by revealing nothing.

I will definitely be a repeat customer at this store.

Just purchased 2 pair of light hiking sneakers. Staff made the difference- very friendly and helpful, even with their tedious vigilance to Covid-19 protocols.

We had a great experience. They can fit you with the best insert for your feet. I have a high arch, high instep, wide foot, and the inserts go in any pair of shoe. Now my feet, back, knees and hips don't hurt.

This store is such a gem, I definitely recommend. There are great deals to be had. I second all the reviews trust mention the staff here. I honestly try to avoid sales people when I shop, but these guys are so friendly and helpful that I appreciated their input.

I wish I caught the guy’s name, but there was one associate who was really awesome. Actually, both of the associates were awesome, a guy and a young woman. But the guy who helped me find my perfect pair of hiking shoes brought them out to me, swiveling the box on his finger like “tada!” It was dope. In the freakish world we’re in right now where people have a certain level of ridiculous distrust of each other more than ever before, that was really nice to see and experience while buying hiking shoes.

Realy great and consideratw staff. Shoes are better priced than sold elsewhere. Buy one pair get half off another pair, right now.

I got some steel toe shoes at 50% off, they always have sales, great quality 2 year warranty (last longer) great staff definitely worth checking out

First time in the store. I couldn't find anything, but Will was so nice and accommodating. He looked for additional stock and told me more spring styles will be coming in soon. I asked and he gave me information about construction in the area. I'll be going back again.

This is honestly the only Merrell store that I've ever been to. So I'm unsure how the variety compares to other Merrell stores.

Either way, I had a great experience! The team working the store was very attentive and took care of us right away.

They immediately answered our questions. Even took the time to search the stock at other stores and helped me find what I wanted.

The staff here is exceedingly helpful and have the right balance between letting you look and being available to answer questions or look for a specific size. They often run door buster sales which are exceptional values. Merrell's quality is hard to beat on top of the all of that. My longest lasting footwear has all come from Merrell.
