Best Friends Family Restaurant

Went there for breakfast for Christmas Eve and it was fantastic. The server was super funny and sweet. I wish I could remember her name, but she was a doll. The food was great and made exactly how I like it. The restaurant itself was really nice and clean. I think our server was Christean or something like that. Again she was great and has an awesome personality......

I've always had good food there, never have been disappointed. Had the fish fry last night it was very very good.

This place was exactly like stepping into my 1990s childhood: the salad bar, the menu, the green booths and wood paneling, the ceiling tiles, but in a really comforting and down to earth way. The food was good. Just homestyle, hearty favorites. The service was exceptional. We accidentally came only 45 minutes before close, but our server was incredibly kind and did not at all treat us like an inconvenience. This is a great place to stop on your way home from the lake when you need a good meal before getting on the interstate which is conveniently right by the restaurant!

Everytime my family and i eat here its always the best service and best food! Always best waiters soo sweet and kind!! The resturant is always clean and thats amazinggg!!! Never have i ever had a bad time at this resturant❤❤❤❤

Good family restaurant! Our first few visits were amazing but they changed ownership and it kind of went downhill. The food used to be good and they had a big menu but now it tastes awful. They also use the stickiest cleaner known to man apparently 😂

We love this place! While camping, we ate here three days in a row. The menu is incredible and has a huge selection. Everything is also remarkably clean, and even the bathrooms were lovely. On top of that, they have INCREDIBLE service! At the end of our last visit, my sister left her retainer on the table, and the waitress ran it outside to us and tapped on our car as we were pulling out. I am so impressed with this place!!!!!!! The prices were excellent, as well as the food portions. Definitely a great place to eat!!

I really liked Best Friends. It’s like a small town family restaurant type deal. They serve breakfast all day, they have a soup and salad buffet and their soups are delicious! Prices are very reasonable. The staff is just wonderful. The servers are so nice! It’s a good place to bring your children if you have them. Their corned beef hash is exceptional! The cook really does an awesome job!

Very much a local diner feel. We were on the road going from Cleveland to Niagara Falls, when we decided to stop in. We had the brunch buffet, which had all the usual suspects... scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, muffins, grits, and gravy & biscuits. Everything was hot and delicious.

Had a good meal with great friends with attentive service yet completely patient with our lengthy visit (and tip in accordingly to make up for her lost revenue to slower turnover). Bottom line? Like we ate at a BEST FRIEND'S place. Funny but I didn't plan thus review--just how it came out! We'll go again. Our FIRST TIME.

Very pleasant atmosphere. The service was very good. We enjoyed our lunch. Kid friendly. Next time we travel through this area, we're planning to stop.

They have an unlimited salad bar with all the extras including fresh fruit and soup for $12.95 (lunchtime). My husband's salmon portion was huge for lunch!
Everything was great! Bathroom was clean and waitress was attentive. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the lettuce from the iceberg bag stuff to romaine, spinach, or leafy greens.

As far back as I can remember, I've never had a bad experience at Best Friends Rest. The restaurant is always clean and well maintained. One of my favorite points of interest there, The Salad Bar, is well taken care of with fresh greens, fresh toppings, and various sides. The soup is delicious and served hot. Above all, the service is quick, polite, friendly, and attentive to your needs. I take delight when I bring friends here because I know they will have a delicious meal as well as a memorable experience.

This time around, I had a BLT w/cheese, a chip of chicken noodles soup, and the salad bar. I was very pleased and full.

I highly recommend stopping here for a bite if your every traveling down I-90 near Geneva, OH.

Good food at a fair price with fantastic service

Easy on/off I-90 for a quick breakfast with plenty of parking spaces. The over medium eggs were cooked just right, and the link sausages were the biggest and tastiest I've ever had. The man (owner?) cashing us out said they specialize in sausages. Friendly and speedy service. Will go back on our next trip to Michigan.

Wonderful, the woman that waited on me, my boyfriend and my dad was incredibly patient, funny and very friendly. I always enjoy their food 😁 I hope they get more employees soon!

We were looking for a chain diner for breakfast on the road, but decided to give this place a try. We were pleasantly surprised. The interior is roomy and clean with good lighting. They had a breakfast bar and big portions of entirely decent food off the menu, and the service was excellent. Great family-run place!
