Vin Gormley Trailhead Parking

Beautiful trail -hobbit like. It's long so bring water and some snacks. Parking at the trailhead is limited.

Awesome trail, but pretty long, so be prepared. We were camping at Burlingame campground, and my son and i decided to hike this at 6:30 in the morning after checking out the map at the campground. From what we understood it would take an hour and 40 minutes. BOY WE WERE WRONG! 2 hours and 3 miles in we realized we were in for a long haul lol. Wearing dollar store flip flops and no water, we stopped a biker on the trail to try and figure out how long it was gonna take. Shout out to the stranger we've named Mike lol for letting us use his phone to check in with our family, and offering us some water, Thank you for not being a weirdo lol. In the end it was a great adventure! Barefoot,7miles and 4 hours later and a great story to tell and yes you Mike will forever be part of it, was all worth it!

Great spot for starting a run or walk. Free large parking lot. Come here frequently and in the off-season, there's hardly any one there. It's bit more crowded in the summer, especially on weekends or evenings but it's rare that the lot is full or the trail is too packed. Starting point of the Vin-Gormley trail, which follows yellow blazes around watchaug pond and is mostly singletrack. Also the parking area to swim in Watchaug Pond which is definitely the best pond to swim in the area.

Parts of the trail are good to walk. Nice little beach and park off the trailhead parking lot.

Beautiful place to visit. Beautiful sights, and so much sand everywhere, miles of sand and no pebbles. A must see visit. You won't be disappointed.

Park here. Go hiking. No signs of Sasquatch this far south.

Beautiful location. Burlingame park and camping close by. Wachhog pond is gorgeous 😍
