Nice, big visitors center. There are lots of hands on experiences for kids. The displays are very nice and informative. The gift shop had stuffed toys and nature books and not much else. We wanted to buy a car decal, but they don’t have them. The staff we saw were courteous, but a little lackluster. The trail out to the overlook was well maintained as was the overlook tower. The view from the tower is awesome. That view makes the trip worth it.

What a great place for a nice easy hike, the view of the ocean is beautiful and a very easy access trail to reach the observation tower

I have been wanting to go inside since I moved here over 6 years ago, finally got to go in and found it so educational and Interacting. Have walked on the trails many times, and now can put all the information together.

An awesome place to stop off and explore! Although the center itself is small, take your time and walk through the main room. Don't forget to open the drawers of each diorama as they have little informational cards and hands on learning for kids inside. The walk to the overlook was beautiful, as well as the view from it! There was a volunteer that was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area and other nature preserves to visit. Within the preserve are a number of walking trails, so if you have little ones, this is a good place to get them out for a bit

So very happy to see it's open again. Check out the afternoon classes they are free and very informative. The classes are often given by URI Professors.

The archery event on Friday is an amazing way to spend time outdoors with the kids. The flora along the ocean view trail is amazing. Saw some Ghost Pipes and spotted wintergreen, both of which are rare and even endangered in parts of New England.

Great center with friendly staff and volunteers. Lots of nice exhibits. Great view from the lookout tower. Can see all the way to Block Island. Nice easy hiking trails leading to and from Burlingame Park and camping area and around the pond. Great for nature lovers.

Enjoyed visiting here. Have a craft table with a variety of simple crafts and coloring pages. An information desk with maps in the area and a nice person running it. A small exhibit room with the different types habitats found in RI as RI truly does have a wide variety of habitats. The habitats were very nicely set up with the common animals found in each as well as the common plants. The visitor center has bathrooms and a small conference room area as well as a nice sized parking lot with a trail head across from the center. There is a handful of trails as well. We did the pond trail and it was well marked and enjoyable. Easily spend an hour or two here if hiking.

Hailey gave a great tour and was very informative, I lived in RI for many years but learned so much about native plants and animals. Thanks for the lessons
