I moved to RI from NYC with my elderly rescue cat and dog. It is so difficult to find a trustworthy vet. I discovered that the Atlantic Animal Hospital was the best choice for us. They’re honest compassionate, and they listen. They don’t rush you, and they’re organized. They care about you, but more so, what is best for your pet. They get back to me so quickly. We live on an island, and it isn’t easy to get to the vet. They deliver our meds right to the boat for us. They check in with you, too.
When I was there for an appointment one day, an elderly gentleman was worried about bringing his cat to the vet twice daily for some treatment. I overheard Dr. Hoffer telling him that she would come to his house every night after work and give the cat its medicine for him. He wouldn’t have to travel.

This place is awesome. Took my dog for staple removal from a past surgery (not theirs). They removed for free. They were so kind. Nice place. Clean.

This Animal Hospital is exactly what I was looking for! Everyone from setup to meeting the Doctor and then nail trimming were wonderful and caring. They are a distance from our home but beyond worth it. Their cohesiveness and genuine care for our sweet puppy and all the other animals I have seen them interact make us feel happy.

Appointments are recommended and the good news is they are adhered to. My canine feels comfortable here and treated tenderly with love and care. Been a patient here for 3 years and feel that my dog receives the necessary care and maintenance I would expect.

My favorite vet of all time. Brian Lynch is the best vet. He takes his time with your pet and explains everything to you. All staff are friendly.

We had to say goodnight to our Indie on Monday. I took her to Atlantic Animal Hospital, the place she always went to feel better.
We brought her to Ocean State emergency a week prior, and they were impressed with the records that Dr.Hoffher sent over. She takes extensive notes about every visit and I felt secure knowing everyone was upto date on Indie's history. Jack and Dr.Hoffher were always there to help when Indie needed her bi-monthly shots for her URI's.
When we said goodnight on Monday it was in a quiet room with lots of privacy, they walked us through gracefully and gave us prints of her little nose and paws. I miss her so much. I'm happy to have AAH as a constant.
Thr black hospital kitty came right in when Indie left and was rubbing against us, giving so many kisses, and sat on my lap purring. I think Indie made it over the rainbow Bridge okay 🥲

All the workers are so nice there. And Doctor Hoffer is so kind and gentle with your pets. My big chicken of a dog loved going there. You will not be disappointed of you make Atlantic Animal hospital your pets Vet.

We recently unexpectedly lost our kitty, Prince Tuesday. He was not a patient of the Atlantic Animal Hospital yet they beautifully handled his final arrangements. The services they offered were affordable and the level of care and compassion they demonstrated was exceptional. The staff of Atlantic Animal Hospital were gentle and respectful from phone call to drop off and their heartfelt condolences were felt. Much to our surprise we received a beautiful sympathy card in the mail this week with hand written notes from everyone on the team. Included in the card were 7 paw / nose prints of Prince Tuesday. We have 7 children (there is no way they could have known this)- what a special final gift. We will be forever grateful for the caring support we received in our time of grief from the team at the Atlantic Animal Hospital & Wellness Center.

Exceptional care for my extremely fearful (of vets) pup. I brought him here because he became so fearful at our other vet he would not get out of the car anymore.

He certainly wasn't happy, but he tolerated a thorough physical exam. The staff is well versed in behavior and knew just what to do with him.

Once he was done, he happily performed tricks and practiced muzzle training while we waited to check out because you never know when you will need one! Especially at the vet with a fearful dog. When dogs are sick/injured/in pain they can lash out with their teeth and having him prepared ahead of time for that extra stressor of the muzzle is one less thing he would need to deal with in the future.

They are first and foremost about your pet, the absolute best vet we have ever taken our dog to. We called with an emergency tonight and they took him right in and took the absolute best care of him and we are extremely appreciative and recommend them. Thank you Atlantic Animal Hospital for being there for our family!

We were on vacation and our family dog was hit by a vehicle, they were very accommodating! We were scheduled the same day and the staff were exceptional! Dr. Segall and his staff were professional and empathized with our predicament. I highly recommend this vet practice to those on vacation and need immediate help , as well as, those who live in Rhode Island!

Great care for our animals. We we're taking our cat for another option and after thousands of dollars of tests at other vet they found the cause of the illness in one visit and $40 a month medication. They saved his life and gave him quality of life back.

We came up for vacation and our bulldogge, Joey, was sprayed by a skunk on the first day. After scrubbing him down, his skin developed a rash that was worsening each day. I called for an appointment and the receptionist fit us in that same afternoon. When we arrived everyone was very friendly. Simone and Dr. Corey were terrific in helping Joey. In less than 24 hours, Joey's skin improved with the medications that were prescribed and he is back to his happy self! Thank you all at Atlantic Animal Hospital!

Dr. Tucker and Symone guided us through the painful process of letting our beloved cat go over the rainbow bridge with gentle compassion. I have cared for animals my whole life and have never experienced a better veterinarian hospital.

Soon after moving to the area we were in need of a vet office for our furry friends 1 dog/ 1 cat. AAH has been the perfect fit for us. Professional, accommodating, and friendly.

They are the best. They were so wonderful with my old cat, Billy, who was at the end of his life. They sent me a beautiful card after he passed....

Dr Hoffer and staff are amazing. Its obvious that they care deeply about the pets they care for. They understand that our fuffy friends are members of the family and treat them accordingly.
