From original call to response from Rick Wallem was quick and professional. He took care of our skunk and opossum problems. Pleasant, patient and communication was excellent.

Shad was very effective in dealing with a raccoon family that had found its way deep under our old house. When a trap didn't work, he took the time to find where they were, apply repellent, seal off any way for them to get under and safely bring out the one remaining baby. I was pleasantly surprised for how reasonable the cost was given that this was not the sort of job that 99.99% of the American workforce would be willing to do. Communication was great and he truly wanted to make sure we were satisfied with the work he was doing. Hopefully I will never need his services again, but if I did this is the company I would use without any sort of second thought.

Rick was the man! Had a small rodent issue come up and they were able to get me in quick. Rick was knowledgeable and courteous with my requests. He also seemed genuinely happy to be there helping me out which is huge for me!

Very professional! Frank gave me a reasonable quote on the phone to remove an old bird’s nest and add preventive material to keeps birds from returning. Brandon was at my house three days later. He was polite, professional, cleaned up everything when he was done. Honest company.

This company was so responsive and quick to help us out. I had messaged the company late in the day about hearing a couple sounds in the attic and Franklin was so kind to quickly respond and get us on the books for an inspection. Mike came out to do an inspection and was so nice, thorough and professional. He inspected the attic and looked for possible entry access points in the attic and also outside. Thankfully no signs of any wild life were found nor possible entry points. The peace of mind was worth it so that we didn’t have any possible costly damage further down the line. Would definitely recommend their services. The price was fair and their expertise was valued.

After shopping companies, we listened to a neighbor's recommendation and went through Orchard to install netting that would prevent swallows from building nests on our home. Really great experience with Orchard. We had Orchard come out to take care of some rat activity we were having earlier this year. More recently, we worried we were hearing activity again. Orchard sent Rick out, who helped us originally earlier in the year. Rick checked everything out quickly and professionally. We appreciate Rick coming out despite the noise we were hearing this time having been coming from water piping. Rick was about to leave when I asked him to check out a separate attic space, and Rick was very happy to help. Rick gave me and my wife the experience of being listened to and respected! Orchard showed up on time as scheduled to check out our issue. They confirmed appointments by email & text. The quote to eradicate our problem was sent promptly & reasonably priced. Once we hired them to complete the project, they continued to communicate with us via email & text and arrived on-time when they said they would. Technicians were courteous & professional. The work was done as the quote stated and they continued to return as necessary for status checks until both parties were satisfied that the problem appeared to be solved.

UPDATE: the owner came and fixed our fence and it looks wonderful.

The trap and removal was great but they offered to help “close the perimeter” of our backyard so we wouldn’t get another skunk. The tech Shad said he would fill in a hole in our block wall with rebar “so it would be really sturdy.” and put mesh under our vinyl fence where wildlife had been digging to get into our yard.

He didn’t do the wall the way he’d told us he would. No rebar. Just filled in the cracks around stacked cement blocks. Then left without putting mesh in the dirt. I requested multiple times for him to come back. About a week later, he came back, put mesh in the wrong place and left without saying anything.

See attached photo of our new vinyl fence with mesh . He told me that the animals couldn’t get through this gap because of the cement so I’m not sure why he thought this was an option. And he left the area where they we’re actually digging alone.

It seems like they have a lot of other good reviews. And I’ll say that the wildlife removal was fine. The costs were very clear. But the handyman work wasn’t great and I’m frustrated that my gate is ruined for nothing.

I had bats move into my attic, and in the space between my roof and chimney. After reading all the positive Orchard reviews, I reached out to them. After sending Orchard pictures of the bats were living, they responded promptly with a reasonable quote. I hired Orchard and Rick Wallem came out the following day. Rick was professional and friendly. He explained the process to remove the bats, which was to set up netting around my chimney that allowed the bats to leave but not return. Rick came back a week later, removed the netting, and sealed off the access point with a metal mesh material. One of the other competitors planned to use expanding foam to keep the bats from returning, which sounded like a lazy method that would not last. I highly recommend Orchard and Rick Wallem if you want the job done properly and professionally.

Asked to have my home that was freshly painted bird proofed. This company was fantastic. Mike came out the same day for an inspection. Quote received and service was completed the following Monday. Shad and his team were professional and courteous. Service and bird proofing was exactly as described. House looks great and you cant even see the material they used to keep the birds away.
