The icecream was absolutely delicious! Vegan options too. I got the vegan peach raspberry icecream and it was to die for! My boys had PB Carmel and the other had Oreo. They said it was the best!

The ice cream is pricey, but it's homemade and there are many creative flavors. (There are many ice cream shops in the state that serve ice cream made by other companies, but not this one!) There are vegan options as well. There was a bit of a line when we arrived around 5pm, but the servers were extremely friendly and working as fast as possible (and wouldn't accept a tip, which she surely deserved!) Our server suggested my husband taste their vegan peach raspberry and he ended up liking it and ordering it instead of the lemon sorbet. It seems like they always have new and exciting flavors coming out!

This is the best ice cream so far!
Not sure how long they stay open for the season but well worth the trip.
Puppy cups, no charge?
They don’t take tips?
Ice cream was delish! It tastes authentic.
The raspberry truffle indescribable!
It is a bit hard to find, hidden in the back.
Worth the little extra effort.
Service fast n friendly.

Worth waiting in line! All staff was super friendly! And above all they have so many amazing flavors to choose from. I went with Grandma’s Oatmeal Cookie in a homemade waffle cone. Every bite was magic in my mouth. I raved about it all the way home. Definitely worth driving to and enjoying a treat with a charming atmosphere under the trees.

This is one of the best ice cream spots around! You can taste the love crafted into this stuff! In addition to the classic flavors, you're bound to find some unique ingredient combinations. Top quality and worth a wait in line!

An awesome place. So many choices to choose from. The staff is the best because they go out of there way to explain what the ice cream flavor combinations are. They will also let you try a small spoonful. The best customer service ever!! The lines are sometimes long, but what would you explain from a Great place. Definitely give it a chance and you may get hooked like us. Great job ladies and gentlemen!! You deserve 5 stars.

EXCELLENT ice cream and awesome servers. All the ice cream is made with all natural ingredients and it’s the most creamiest Ice cream I’ve ever had…. For the people annoyed at waiting in line.. get over it.. there are far bigger problems happening in the world. And trust me- it’s worth the wait.

Always on the lookout for a yummy dairy free ice cream, and I sure wasn't disappointed at Holy Cow! I opted for the chocolate raspberry. It was thick, smooth and, oh so rich! No problem getting it in a cup with the cone on top, the gals serving up these delights were as sweet as the treats!

Absolutely delicious ice cream, with a huge selection of conventional and unique novelty flavors available. As a lifelong fan of black licorice, I could not believe my eyes when I saw licorice ice cream on the menu! I ordered it in a waffle cone, and it was some of the best and most extraordinary ice cream I've ever had in my life (the cone was delicious too, but the ice cream absolutely blew me away). I attempted to return the next morning before driving back to New Jersey, only to find to my chagrin that the store wasn't open! If I had to list 2 complaints, it's that the store keeps some rather odd hours, and the ice cream is a bit pricey, although well worth it. Cannot wait to go back; I only wish they sold their ice cream online (I am desperate to have that licorice ice cream again).

This place is a family favorite. I do believe it is cash only. They have a ton of flavors available that are very creative. Best place for variety. Have sundaes and cabinets as well plus they had a couple vegan flavors available too. Customer Service is awesome, lady was very accommodating with my children. Little cute outdoor area for eating. Even if this place is 10-15 minutes out of your way it's still worth taking a trip to! Enjoy!

Best ice cream in the state much of it is design and made by the owners. Some of their flavors are out of this world, literally and figuratively speaking. They'll let you try a spoonful of anything before you buy. I recently had a toasted coconut ice cream cone that was better than Ben & Jerry's anything. Holy cow is holier than now, the people and the ice cream are the best in the state. Now I am not related to any of them, I just really like great service and great ice cream!

The best ice cream in the state. The lavender honey is out of this world. The people who work here are the sweetest loveliest people. For the people who complain about the wait - I would rather wait ten+ minutes to talk to friendly people and get delicious ice cream than be in and out in 2 minutes to someone who doesn’t have time to speak to you and subpar ice cream. I love going on rainy nights I can ask about any flavors and avoid crowds!

Always always amazing. They have the most interesting flavors, dairy and vegan, that are always being updated and changed. I get the Vegan ice creams and it's the best around! It's not a trip to RI without a stop here.

I never leave reviews but I HAD to for Holy Cow. Being lactose intolerant, there aren't many options for me around here unless I want sorbet. Holy Cow always has at least 2 vegan options and they are always changing them and they are always AMAZING! The staff is so friendly and helpful. They will run around getting samples for everyone and they take time to explain their options. It's usually pretty busy but they move people through quickly and yet you never feel rushed. I have finally found a place for the whole family to be able to enjoy ice cream!! I recommend this place 100%!

The ice cream is fabulous and you can get little tastes before you choose. The portions are generous. Be prepared to wait, because the staff treat each customer as if they are the only ones there, which is nice. You aren't rushed, which is a great feeling.

It's an easy experience with friendly and kind people always ready to serve you. Plus great ice cream with lots of interesting and unique flavors to love and explore. A great bonus is that they have tons of great sorbet flavors for lactose and tolerant people.

Awesome homemade ice cream, flavors you won't find any where else. Be patience they take their time with each customer, allowing them to have a smaple and/or explain the flavors. Totally worth the wait.

In Charlestown for a few days and found this ice cream shop amongst a few other shops. An art gallery, pottery place and a restaurant. Definitely a locals place. Very good service and a great selections of ice cream, yogurt, sherbert and even a few vegan flavors. The surprising things was the dog ice cream that they dont charge for! We watch several dogs enjoy their treats. What a cute idea. When we are back will definitely stop here again. No place to sit inside, however several shady picnics benches and patio tables to sit and enjoy.
