Canon Bonito RV Park & Fisherman’s Club

We spent 7 days at Canon Bonito RV Park and had the best time ever! The park itself is absolutely stunning but the people who run the park are so nice. Its family owned and they work their butts off to keep it beautiful. Its so refreshing to see a family work together, it restores your faith in humanity. Talking to Al is like talking to family, he is the nicest man ever. He always has a positive and friendly attitude and is willing to accommodate for anything. There are laidback campsite dogs who live there and are free to roam and visit the campsites. We found they were good company for our dogs. Speaking of which, our dogs had the best vacation ever, there is plenty of room for them to run and play and swim in the river. We will definitely be back next year.

Fantastic place. Spaces are generously big. People are super friendly (especially the owner). Beautiful Southern Colorado setting next to river...what more could ya want. Can't wait to go back!

We only planned to stay one nite......but we'll be back. Perfect hideway...especially for fly fishermen. Many book for a nite and end of staying longer. Very friendly family run rv park.

Beautiful location that is peacefully separated but very convenient to town. Adjacent to the Conejos River and you can book private stretches for fly fishing. Huge cottonwood trees throughout the property, with a great mix of sun and shade. Level lots amidst natural surroundings. Very friendly owner/manager. Will definitely book again!

Darling little gem a few miles outside Antonito. Fantastic access to the river for fly fishing and while there is no guarantee of catching, the trout come here to spawn upping your chances of catching some beautiful fish. Just don't forget the bug spray in the summer or you will be dinner for the mosquitos.

This is a great little RV park that accommodates all sizes of RV’s. Very rustic yet has full hookups and Wi-Fi! The owner is friendly and helps you into your site. The fellow campers are friendly, as well. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back.

We heard about the RV park from some friends of ours that were and had spent most of the summers there. We thought we would give it a try so we could reconnect with the people we new. The owner of the park met us at our site and made us feel very welcomed. His birthday was Saturday night and most of the park campers participated in a pot luck celebration. We got to know other campers but we got to know the owner and his wife. We even met his mom and dad. Super people that care about the experience of the campers. If you want to feel like you are entering a "family" campground, choose this one. They make you feel this way. We will come back because we now have more friends and they are really good people!

On a 2 week trip through Colorado we made a last minute change to our itinerary and took a chance on Cañon Bonito - it turned out to be our favorite stop of our whole trip. Al has created the perfect, laid back hideaway of a campground, from the sign welcoming us into the campground and the relaxed check in process, to the “by donation” laundry facilities, to the campground dogs that make you feel right at home. It’s the perfect landing spot for a day spent fishing or on the Cumbres & Toltec train, both of which we did. Highly recommend this campground!

Amazing park. Nice owners, more than decent WIFI, and T-mobile and Verizon are solid with a booster while you're within walking distance of the river. Big sites, great park.

We loved this place. Great family campground at a terrific rate. Large sites, full hook ups with good power. Well kept and owners live on sight. Definitely recommend this one.

My experience here was over the top, the owners made our stay very comfortable and are super friendly. There were 3 of us RVers staying here for 5 days, we enjoyed ourselves so much We have already reserved 6 sites for next year.

Fun camp ground that is well cared for right on the Conejos River. Love this place in the summertime.
