Great staff, everyone was helpful and friendly. The Green Chili Cheeseburger was amazing. Coconut Creme pie was perfect! Highly recommended.

Food was delicious, staff was friendly and treated you like family .. we appreciate them.. it is a mist stop if you are ever in the area

This diner turned out to have some of the best food in the area. The cuisine was a vibrant mix of southern comfort and New Mexican. Everything was well portioned and delicious. Unfortunately, the Chocolate Cake was a little on the dry side. The customer service was pleasant and homely. The atmosphere was relaxed and definitely had the small town feel going for it. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Visiting from Arizona, the food here is top notch. The staff are attentive and polite, prices are great and bring the food to you fast!

Yet another great family run New Mexico restaurant.

We were here three or four weeks ago and I'm still thinking about it so thought I'd come leave a review. The young man working the day we were there for breakfast is in a league of his own. The place was busy and he was doing everything except cooking and rocking it. Taking orders, getting drinks and refills, bussing tables, running cash register and above all else talking to customers like friends. We have a restaurant and would do anything for help like that. Even half that! And busy as it was, our food came fast and was great. Stellar staff at this cool establishment.

What a great quaint little cafe! The pancakes were fluffy and sweet, the bacon was cooked to a perfect crisp, and the bargain prices will keep me coming back to this Smokey the Bear institution. Super quick and friendly staff, too!

We were traveling through the area on a road trip and stopped into Smokey bear for lunch. The New Mexico steak sandwich might be the best sandwich I’ve ever had. The cheesecake is amazing. The service was fantastic! Highly recommend

We loved stopping for a bite to eat at this little restaurant. The servers were very friendly and accommodating. In fact everyone in this restaurant was awesome. The food was pretty good. The price wasn't bad at all. All in the family approved of what they ate. There were also lots of neat memorabilia to see from Smokey The Bear. The best part was getting to eat at the 50's style counter. Over all we enjoyed the experience.

We stopped in on our way home from the hunt. Our server was amazing! The food was phenomenal!

We were heading to our campsite when it started snowing and decided a hot meal would be better than a cold campsite. Pulled in here for dinner before hitting the motel next door. The food here was amazing and service is fast and friendly. We came back for breakfast after such a good dinner and will definitely stop again if we come back this way some time.

Service was outstanding!! This is definitely a local spot to eat. I had the blueberry pancakes(❤) and bacon, my friends had waffle, breakfast quesadilla(❤❤), nachos, club sandwiches with tots(❤❤). Super great food and service.

Good service and good food all for a reasonable price! The burgers are flavorful and large portions, the green chile is a must have addition. The inside is set up diner style and is a real hole in the wall. Wonderful experience, recommend to anyone passing through.

Family owned, and it shows in the young men waiting tables shown to be service oriented and matriarch overseeing all that goes on!
