Capitan coin operated laundry

Absolutely fantastic laundromat.
They have the super queen large ones, small ones, etc. Basically $2 per std wash.

Soap offered, super clean bathroom, wonderful.

Had the place to myself on a Wednesday at noon.

Great laundry facility. Washers and dryers were all functional and efficient. I appreciate the clean environment.

I went early around around noon. I found the facilities very clean and easy to work with. The change machine worked and the washer and dryers worked beautifully! I just started staying a Capitan last month and we'll be staying more often 3 to 4 days a week while working in Ruidoso for the next 2 to 3 years. I will be back. Thank you for having clean facilities!

Well kept and clean. Plenty of machines to choose from and the prices were good. Good location in proximity of Smokey the Bear museum.

This is the best place to wash in the Ruidoso area. It is a small trek, but you don't have to wait for machines during the week. Plus they have an open public book exchange like older laundromat did. Affordable and convenient.

Laundry sucks, but this place makes it suck less! Affordable and efficient.

Decent place to do laundry most of the machines are in working order and the facility is kept fairly clean

We really like Capitan Laundrt. Top loaders are $2.00 each . They have assorted front loaders. Dryers work great. There is a book exchange best of all its clean.

Nice local laundromat. Had 6 or 7 out of order machines though.

Reasonably clean place with good, working machines. $2.50 wash in a standard size is a little higher than I’m used to, but probably fair here. Dryers are huge and can easily hold two washers worth and fair priced. Might have been just the one that I used, but the dryer had ten minutes left when I opened it to get a few things out and it “zeroed” my time. Had to add another dollar to finish. No Wi-Fi which would be nice since I had almost no T-Mobile service. No employee to help.

It's the only option in Capitan for we who dont have washer/dryer connections in our homes.
Many machines are usually out of order. One washer last week jammed up when I inserted the $2.50 in quarters. No attendant there to resolve such issues. Many machines are quite often dirty and sometimes you have to wash twice to get clean laundry. Lack of maintainance is an issue but as I stated, It's the only option in town.
