La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant

One of our faves! Brisket nachos, delicious! Becky knows her stuff, she may be feisty but we love her for it! I have seen her run around this (full!) restaurant helping tables, all by herself, getting orders out, getting drinks, greeting people coming in, checking out guests, thanking them as they leave, making everyonehappy! She's awesome!

The food is awesome especially their green sauce on a cheese enchilada! The service is fantastic and the people are the best!!

Cafe setting and an extensive menu for every meal. Just reading the breakfast items makes me want to come in and try them all! In our group we tried the enchiladas, smothered burrito, tamales and chile relleno. All were awesomely prepared...and fast too! Everyone enjoyed their meal, but all agreed the chile in the chile relleno was pretty much tasteless (not that they can control that. Guy at the table next to us had a burger...it was huge! Looked delicious and juicy. Cant wait to go back again, and next time try some of thier other items.

Clean and remodeled place, well lit and pleasant. Food is great. Staff is friendly, prices are reasonable. Even the Spanish rice is moist, not dried out. I go there about twice a month because the food quality is consistently good.

Everything was super good. I forgot to take pictures because it looked so good and I just ate. Very good place to chill and eat. I loved it!

Everything is good! I am addicted to their huevos rancheros (green for me) they really do it right. In fact I can't order that dish anywhere else because now it's disappointing in comparison! Their menudo is very good as well. It's our favorite place for Sunday breakfast.

First time at the hacienda and everything is good from the Dr Pepper to homemade chips and salsa! The service especially Melinda, fast and helpful !

When I first arrived I was not sure if it was a Taco Bell type of fast food. I walked to the back counter where I heard a woman tell us to sit down & someone would be with us in a moment.

The waitress took our order but never brought the chips & salsa we ordered. Other people were seated & we noticed the chips & salsa they ordered was brought out immediately. My friend asked for ours & she brought it out. We ate a couple chips when our food arrived. That was a waste!

I ordered Caldo de Res which was delicious. The flour tortilla was awful.

Ignore the building and the interior, the food is outstanding and it server could not have been more attentive, solicitous, or cheerful. We had fajitas and gorditas, and both were wonderful!

Great food! Good service! Nice quiet atmosphere when we went just after noon.

We love La Hacienda! We get the huevos rancheros, over-easy, red, corn, with bacon. So so yummy every time.

We whent for a late dinner had great food and service. I had the veggy taco salad, my husband had the smothered green chili burrito our friend had the caldo. Cook and waitresses are awesome.

This is your mom and pop, you want some real New Mexican food, no frills kinda place. The food was great, the prices are good and it came out quick. You can tell this is a local favorite.

VERY good food. We got into town a bit late, and with everything closing we were almost stuck eating at allsups. Luckily the waitress saved the day and allowed us to eat. The food is very good. We will definitely be going back!

Stopped here on our way from White Sands to grab lunch. Great & fast service, excellent prices and delicious food easily makes it 5 stars. I had the shrimp fajitas and a raspberry margarita.

Happened on this restaurant by chance after leaving White Sands National Park after sunset this evening. The hospitality was friendly, service was excellent. We highly recommend the beef enchilada plate with a fried egg on top and the carnitas. Oh, and ask for the green salsa, it's amazing.

This is hands down, my absolute favorite Mexican restaurant in Alamogordo. I always feel like I'm at my grandma's eating amazing authentic Mexican food. The service is phenomenal too! They treat everyone like family here and remember you when you make return visits even if it's been a couple months. If you want amazing barbacoa, margaritas, tacos, smothers burritos, agua frescas, etc. You need to give this restaurant a try. It's worth every single penny spent.

They were able to accommodate vegetarian dishes. Try the bean and cheese burrito with green chile for something exciting!

Looking for YUMMY homemade flavor Mexican food, this is the place to go!! AMAZING RED CHILI!!😋 Great food always and awesome service!! Highly recommended!
