Glacier Raft Company

I went on a whitewater rafting trip with this company and had an amazing experience. I was worried that it would be miserable because of the cold weather, but they had all the gear to keep us warm on the river. Our guide, Caleb, was very knowledgeable about the area and was able to keep us entertained on the flat parts of the river as well. I’d recommend this trip to anyone regardless of prior whitewater rafting experience because the company makes it very beginner friendly.

Whitewater rafting was the highlight of my trip to Glacier NP. We did it in a balmy 40 degrees, but glacier raft company supplies warm gear including a fleece, booties, wetsuit, and jacket. My hands got a little cold, but besides that I was warm (I am from the Midwest!). The rapids we did were classified as type 2 and 3, and as someone who has never been whitewater rafting before it was great! I got an adrenaline rush from the rapids we went through. I do recommend being comfortable with water, or you might be a little scared. Our guide Aaron was awesome, and gave interesting information about the area while in calm parts. He was also great in giving instructions for the challenging portions. Overall, great experience.

Pro tip: put the thrill seekers/those who want to get wet up front. Also, tip your guides!

We did the scenic float as we have small kids, but it was great. Very relaxing and peaceful after 3 days of hiking. Annabelle was our guide and she was fantastic telling us of great places to see and eat in the area. Also taught us about local trees. We would definitely do this again.

Such a fun experience! Was part of a large wedding group and we did the afternoon raft the day after the wedding. Everyone seemed to have an amazing time and all the guides seemed knowledgeable. My group had Jake and he was awesome.

Was a different experience than rafting in Ottawa, ON. The rapids in Golden, BC were closer together so it seemed easier to maneuver down the river.

Overall, it was a lot of fun and extremely beautiful.

Amazing times on the river once again. Wes is the best guide ever and is a bear attack survivor and an absolutely nice guy who loves to interact with guests. Give this man a big big raise on his salary.

Amazing experience and I would definitely recommend this activity if you’re in Glacier! We had so much fun on the 2 hour raft. Our Raft Guide was Eliyah and she was amazing! You won’t be rafting 100% of the time, only at times when your raft guide instructs you to. So it wasn’t extremely tiring and you get to enjoy the view. The water is extremely cold, recommend to bring and wear your own water shoes, but they do have some for rent. We went during summer, so it was good weather and the water levels were lower, so it wasn’t too crazy tides. But definitely there are some parts that are exciting and picture worthy! Also, definitely get the photos package, our pictures turned out fantastic!!

The scenic half day raft float was just what we had hoped for. Just a bit of whitewater, a little bit of paddling, two other couples and a guide who told us a lot about the area, the river and interesting stories and his experiences. Ty is a great guide.

We had a great experience on the full day raft with Anna. We started with a leisurely float, and Anna was a delight to chat with and the scenery was unparalleled. About half way through our day, we stopped at a beach for lunch. The crew whipped out literally grills and made us amazing steaks, chicken, and veggie burgers, plus guacamole and chips, potato salad, oranges, etc. We were able to swim, too. After, we hit the rapids. Anna led us through them like the pro she is. We always felt safe but definitely had some thrills! We saw another company on the river too that didn’t seem nearly as professional as this one and they were struggling. Our crew said the wind made it one of the hardest days on the river they’ve seen, but they guided us with confidence and never wavered. I would 100 percent book with them again.

What a great adventure! My friend and I did the scenic tour. I wouldn't say the photo package is worth it, because they only took a couple shots right after we launched and that was it, but the cost of the tour was worth it. We found all the guides to be courteous, helpful, and had a great sense of humor. Shout-out to Emily P!! Scenery was stunning from start to finish. Definitely looking forward to coming back for the whitewater!!

Overall an excellent trip, and I'm glad that we ended up booking with you all. The e-sign of the waivers was great, the process of getting gear, safety talk, the bus ride and the trip itself was well organized. The cleanliness of the bus and the raft was top notch!

I gave Shaw a 99 because she wasn't as familiar with the area knowledge, but with that said how does one prepare for so many different questions. We enjoyed the trip so much, we sent over 2 tickets to the Under The Big Sky concert for Sunday's performances. Hopefully she was able to use them. See y'all next year.

Of all the outfits out there putting on rafting and camping trips these guys are by far the best. We host a camping group every summer and this company is top notch. The guides go over safety tips every day and they help keep us safe always. I'll never use another company again. These are our people!!

Great trip. Joe was great guide. Feet do get wet. Swimming opportunity in cold water. Really really enjoyed (did not swim hah). Everyone very nice and helpful to us mature rafters.

Had the best time! Jim Bob was a great guide and shared so many facts and stories with our group.

My father and 12 year old son and I were pleasantly surprised to have a raft with just our family. My dad kept asking how I hooked up a "private" trip. Sometimes these things feel lile they are just some massive machine shuffling tourist through Disneyland style... not here.

TJ was great. He offered to take pictures, never made us feel rushed, spotted wildlife like a bald eagle for us and generally kept my 12 year old entertained.

Highly recommend.

Glacier Raft Company is the best in the business for a reason! Highly rated and I’m so glad I went with them over other companies. There are a number of rafting tours available in West Glacier and if you don’t want to take my advice on going no further than Glacier Raft Company in your search, then I’d recommend reading the reviews and finding out which is best. Not sure how their prices compare to others but the quality and professionalism is more important than saving a few bucks. Sam is a great guide. She did a fantastic job and yelled at those in the front who were slacking on their steering duties. Somebody had to whip them into shape. :) Wonderful tour and it was my first time hitting the rapids; it won’t be my last now. I would have liked to have multiple photo ops during the journey but the pics came out great. Thanks guys for hiring the best people!

Our fantastic guide was Isaac. He was entertaining and knowledgeable the entire trip. The other guides were Kayla, Dave, and Justin, which is awesome at joke telling, by the way, please forgive me if I missed someone, and scuba Dave, who drove the party bus. This is the family owned business with the red boats. I would recommend them for a great river rafting experience at any age.

Our group had a blast white water rafting near Glacier National Park. Our guide, Eliza, was outstanding! Her upbeat personality made our family adventure more exciting. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide, we will definitely book another trip!

Really fun day with our guide Ella! She was very knowledgeable, informative about safety, shared a bunch about the history of the area, and and easy to learn from. She also kept the day super fun for the four of us in her raft. Would definitely use these guys again.

We had an awesome first white water rafting trip here 2 weeks ago with Caitlin as our guide! We had a great group, the river levels were obviously lower as it is September but we still caught 7/8 good rapids and the bumps made it fun! The river itself and the scenery were pretty as we went along. It was good getting to know the rest of the guys on the raft, Cate made it super fun for us and was also really knowledgable on not just rafting but stuff to do with the park itself. She kept us afloat, no one fell out and the boat didn’t tip up! Thanks guys!
