Oysterfest

Great get together for both the community and oyster tourists. There was a broad range of foods available, all for good causes.

Volunteer this year. The people were awesome. Talk to alot of different people. Will Volunteer again next year.

2023 was awesome !!!

Hot weather on Sat and not enough shaded areas to sit down or get relief from the sun. They needed more areas protected from the sun, to sit and eat. The venue was all asphalt, so if in the 80's, the asphalt is higher temperature. Oyster fritters were the best bang for buck food item. Waiting in lines for food to be expected. Need more ATM's as nearly every vendor was cash, not credit

We do this every year..unfortunately this is the last. 24 oysters( 12 grilled 12 bbq'd) 3 small fritters, egg rolls and noodles for Estella, 3 waters and 30.00 for admission..120.00.. Not to mention the hr waiting in traffic and hr waiting in lines for these 24 oysters. That 5 more to get in than previous years persons and a 2.00 hike PER OYSTER It is now just too much money for a family to attend.That is such a same as it all goes to good causes ...SMH

First time going and won't be going back. I get the money goes to good causes. But the prices are absolutely insane. The food isn't even prepared professionally. It's made by kids and their grandparents. Not one thing I bought was cooked properly. Overdone, chewy, burnt. At those prices naw I'm good on going back.

lines were way to long.

The most important in todays world is security. No one checked us in,a crazy lunatic could've come in to harm all of us people In there. The only check point was to see if we have tickets purchased in advance.
For my family and our friends it was a waist of time,not to mention waist of money as well. Food was just ok, if you dont know any better,extremely expensive...example 5 wrapped in bacon oysters $20)...not to mention the guts were not removed!!! Yuck !
Not enough siting areas ,even in the few tents with beer/wine.
Drove 2 hours to get there...never again !!
