Katora Coffee

This place has a really eclectic vibe. The staff is great. A good variety in the menu and good for those who have altered menu requests! There is seating outside if you want to enjoy the fresh air and be part of the downtown sidewalk activity. I will definitely be going back again. And if it's a hot day, swing in for a refreshing smoothie!

what a fantastic little gem! got a triple over ice and a small coffee (NOTE-they do not have milk/cream here if that matters to you) with some oat milk. ordered a cheese danish, they accidentally doubled the order so i bought a second. it was delicious. awesome employees. cute venue. interesting bathroom. and for the cherry on the top, ALF was there!

I moved to Fredericksburg from New York April of 2022.. as I got off the train my first day in town I passed by katora and walked in for a coffee.. little did I know this would become my new home. Wednesday night open mic is amazing, the staff make sure that it is a welcoming safe space for everyone:-) love you Katora ;)!

Visited 9/9/22 GREAT atmosphere! At nights they have open mic night, karaoke or just hanging out. Some afternoons they pain, color etc all FREE!

I stopped by this morning with my partner and the man serving us was so friendly. The vegan sausage, egg, and cheese bagel was amazing. The hummus was very flavorful and not made with a ton of oil - just perfect. I noticed that they host Dungeons & Dragons there, live music, open mic, etc. They sell work from what looks like local artists and many indie comic books to choose from. Nothing but good vibes. I will be returning often.

My husband's words "I think this is the best coffee I've ever had in my life" he had a pistachio latte and I had a lavender vanilla latte. The delicious coffee was served with a genuinely kind spirit in an incredibly friendly atmosphere.

My GF and I have have been to this wonderfully friendly cafe many times, and the staff is so friendly and helpful. We go every time we are in town walking around. My GF always gets a rose water white chocolate mocha. As picky as she is about her coffee, they do it right every time. Personally i don’t get frufoo drinks, I’m just a simple coffee guy, but their reg. Coffee Is delish, and I normally put my own honey and almond milk in it, but they always put the right amount in it for me. That’s one of the many reasons we love them. The atmosphere is awesome, with such a neighborhood and vibe feel, we always end up talking to people we just met. They also have a nice selection of breakfast sandwiches, wraps, pastries and other delicious items to go with your beverage choice. They truly are the best in downtown Fredericksburg.

First time customers, we will definitely be back. Everything was fabulous and the comedy show was a great time.

Katora Coffee is a great place to get a nice tea or coffee and relax. There's plenty of seating to just enjoy a brief moment in life. The staff are always warm and friendly and work hard to ensure you have a positive experience here. They also have some nice baked treats and offer wraps and sandwiches from time to time. I highly reccomend.

The first time I came here I did not know they only had oat/soy/almond/coconut milk so I was worried I wouldn't like my drink. I took the baristas recommendation for oat milk and I was blown away. Their coffee is AMAZING! My new go to spot! The inside also has a really nice comfy vibe great for studying or hanging out! Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming!

Walk right in, head to the register and order a hot snickerdoodle latte with almond milk and a cherry Danish. Trust me, it's delicious.

This place has one of the best coffee shop vibes in downtown Fredericksburg. Great natural lighting, good musical vibes, and fast WiFi.

Also, I randomly requested for a cold brew and lemonade mixed drink. It's super random, but it's popular in Colombia, and the barista who made it did an amazing job!

It's really awesome that the coffee shop is willing to make something that's not on the menu as long as they have the materials.

Such a good place to vibe, soak in the local art and atmosphere, and enjoy vegan coffees! It's so unique and truly a treasure. (Plus, the chalkboard bathroom is lovely and full of hope and happiness)

Very kind barista, wonderful atmosphere, they do not use milk (instead its soy, oat, almond and coconut milk) so don't go in angry about that. The sweets the have are delicious, fresh and warmed up for you. I got a mocha raspberry and cherry tart. Fantastic. They have events almost every night which is fun for locals or travelers as something to do.

My partner and I were staying in the area and Katora was one of the best local businesses we visited. The atmosphere is so cool! I loved getting to look at all of the art made by local artists. We didn’t get food, but our lattes were DELICIOUS! The staff was friendly and very helpful. It’s clear that they care so much about their space and are welcoming to all. This is a gem for the locals and travelers alike. Hope to visit again next time we’re in town!

Take the low star ratings with a grain of salt, this places' vibe is like no other. Come with an open mind to find incredible flavor combos, friendliness humans deserve( not like DC hardened souls), and a place to be you. Try the baklava latte and be surprised! This shop is dairy free meaning your almond and coconut milk *substitutes* are the norm. Sit back sip and relax at Katora coffee!

Really love the atmosphere people and, just, all of it. Was my second visit and I got the turmeric latte which is SO good and the tater tots (which I could NOT stop eating). If I lived closer, I'd probably come here every day. Just a really comfortable place to hang out.

Great coffee! The white mocha was the best one I’ve found in a while. The baked treats were delectable to admire and enjoy, while the seating arrangement is cozy and quaint. I want to return for an outdoor seating with some coffee, an almost pastry, and a great book.

Great vegan options!! Not just coffee but they sell a variety of vegan breakfast items (including vegan sausage, egg and cheese), lunch options including a tempeh chicken salad and lots of pastries.

The drink list is huge and no up charge for vegan milks. Had a delicious coconut milk gingerbread latte that had a strong coffee taste (a lot of them these days are so overly milked you can barely taste the coffee) and wasn't too sweet.

Located on the main drag with seating inside and out. Definitely will be back.

Very chill atmosphere, friendly staff, awesome food options, and tasty beverage choices. Their milk options are pretty cool, all non-dairy which is right up my alley. And their food choices are all vegan based.
