Powell's Friendly Market

Lived in Fredericksburg over 30 years, always wanted to try the "world's best", finally gave them a try and they were good. It was happening in there had a lunch rush but I didn't wait too long. Chili cheese dogs came out very hot and fresh. Definitely a quick pretty cheap quick lunch meal. I got a bag of chips and a soda too and they were fresh. The store was clean too.

Not sure it's the worlds best hotdog but with chili, cheese, ketchup, mustard, and onion it's hands down the best in the area. The chili takes them to another level. Kind of crowded when we went but the lady at the counter was fast making our order and friendly.

I’m from West Virginia where we have real hotdogs with chili and slaw. I’ve lived here in Virginia for 6 years and never found a place that can replicate them until today! Powell’s market has the best hotdogs I’ve ever had outside of my home state of wv. They are just as good! Go check them out!!

2 chili dogs, 2 bags of chips less than 6 bucks. Delicious real beef plus fixings. Well worth it and I'm going back forever

It's an old store with more video screen games of chance than anyplace I've ever been in and multiple lotto machines as well as counter purchase lottery. It's as clean as it could be for its age and the counter attendant is also the cook for the hotdogs. Ordered 4 of the all beef chili cheese dogs with mustard & onions for the wife and I. They are $3 each + tax. They were just OK. I wouldn't go out of my way to get them again.

Describe the food, service (or lack of) and provide details on the cost/copy of check and include pictures! Is the place clean? No one cares about the waiter/waitress names, their abilities, or if they look like they fell face first into a tackle box. They get changed like underwear and you don't get to pick one. No we don't care about your allergies or the need for gluten free food.

Worlds famous hotdogs 😂 there from Kirkland's aka Costco only thing homemade is the chili shake and bake tbh Hardees hotdogs are better!!!! There selling knockoff hotdogs claiming there the world famous smh
