Found this family restaurant close by the hotel I was staying in. I was going to order to go, but was welcomed to sit down, and enjoy my beer while waiting.

I orderd the 3 topping 16 inch pizza, which included, Italian sausage, pepperoni, and extra cheese. I also ordered two gyro's.

The pizza was fresh, the crust was crispy, and the meat was real Italian sausage, delicious! The gyro's were delicious also! The customer service was top notch! I really enjoyed the experience!

Family owned and run for over 30 years. This is a Fredericksburg staple and a hidden gem. It’s simple good Greek food in a small location that has served up home cooked Greek comfort food for generations. I’ve been going here since the late 80’s and am always greeted with familiarity and smiles. Honest food from honest people is the way it always feels. I love this restaurant!

We stopped by Parthenon Restaurant for a late lunch and the food was great. Let me start by saying upon entering we were greeted by the welcome fragrance of fresh pizza dough and garlic tomato sauce, a deep seeded childhood scent memory that I did not know I was missing. Sophia greeted us at the door, told us to sit anywhere and came to the table for our drink order. Sophia was very helpful when we were ordering and answered all our questions. I ordered the gyro platter and my date ordered the meat and cheese Calzone. Both were unbelievably delicious.
After our meal we chatted with Sophia for some time. It was a great time with great food.

Do NOT be fooled by the modest interior and exterior. This is definitely a "Don't judge a book by its cover" type of places.

I was introduced to this place by a friend while I went to MWC right across the street. This place quickly became my favorite restaurant in Fredericksburg. The place has a very cozy feel and it hasn't be redecorated in about 30 years which adds to the charm. Don't let the age fool you, it is super clean and well maintained inside. I mean freakishly clean, seriously peek behind the counter and take a look in the kitchen. The bathrooms are spotless as well, I mean pristinely clean. It is a family owned restaurant and they will quickly learn their regulars and they are always friendly.

Their gyros, souvlaki, and pasta dishes are out of control good and you will quickly forget that delivery pizza even existed. Their pizza is hands down the best you will get in the area and is still in my top 2 favorite pizza places ever. I basically haven't ever had anything bad on the menu, and I've probably tried almost all of it. Their baklava is great as well.

Manny and Sophia are lovely people who genuinely care about their establishment, reputation and the food that they serve. They work so incredibly hard.

There is a reason why this place has been there forever, try it out and you will understand!

Decided to try this based on reviews. We were not disappointed. We went for the Greek dishes. Preferred the Gyro over the chicken but both were good. We had a great time chatting with Sophia. This is a little gem of a place.

Authentic as it gets!!!!!! We don't get there as often as we should! But for really great homestyle Greek, this is the place! Atmosphere is warm and friendly, service is just what you would expect it to be, and the food... Well!

While we moved to this area nearly three years ago, we just recently came across this place and I am sure glad we did. What a wonderful hidden gem that’s been going strong for 40 years! Wonderful couple that makes it a great, quiet, quaint place serving out delicious dishes. I do really look forward to our next visit here. First time was a wonderful experience.

Wonderful!!! We stopped in after a long day on the road and the staff was very friendly and accommodating to us and our kids. Eggplant Parmesan was fantastic - great marinara sauce and the perfect portion. We will definitely try to come back next time we are passing through the area.

This is the best, "most authentic" pizza in Fredericksburg period, our favorite crust anywhere! The nicest couple and their daughter. We mostly get take out pizza because it works best for us, but eating there is wonderfully nostalgic.

This place has the best pizza and subs around. It’s been here for a long time and has a huge following. The prices are affordable and they serve a high quality meal for the price. I recommend Parthenon to everyone.

Tonight we walked from our hotel and enjoyed our first meal at Parthenon Restaurant. The owners were directly involved in running this popular restaurant and personally interacted with customers. My chicken souvlaki was delicious, and I shared part of my partner’s pizza. That also was very flavorful and the Greek olives made a big difference! Sharing half of a baklava desert added a nice finish to this a very special meal!

40 years and still going strong, this Mom and Pop operation chugs along with various familiar menu that tastes delicious. Today's 12" pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms and lunch special of cheese ravioli in tomato sauce and baked cheese (with delicious garlic bread and Greek salad) more than pleased our palate. The owners are so personable and delightful as well as obviously proud of their restaurant.

Fantastic food, atmosphere and service! The older Greek couple that own and operate the restaurant make every customer feel like family. It is so good, that while I first dined here in 2018, I saved the paper menu the owner gave me for the past five years for the day (today) when I was able to come back! Don't miss any chance to eat here!

I love this place! The service was excellent, and the everything we ordered came out hot, fresh, and delicious! This is such a cute, cozy little restaurant that has been around for many years, and a place that many locals go to. It is such a cozy atmosphere with great food. I will definitely be back!

Traveling through, we saw the excellent reviews and stopped in. The food was beyond amazing-fresh and homemade! We had pasta, pizza and chocolate cake. Highly recommend this lovely place-the owners were so kind!

Everything we ordered was fantastic from the flaming cheese to the pizza and then baklava. It's family owned and ran. Our server is also the owner and she spoke to you like family. Not to mention she's got jokes! We definitely will be back. Lived here almost 17 years and I'm sad I just found out about it!! If you go, you won't be disappointed!

This was my first visit but definitely not my last. The food was fresh, flavorful, and not a long wait. There were two other individuals that today was there first time as well. They had pizza and said it was delicious. The staff (overs) were extremely nice. I cannot wait to take my wife and friends there. The wife and friends lived everything tonight.

Its so nice to come to a family run business where the family is actually running the place! We love it! Very small dining area but the food is amazing!

Tried some entrees first time when i went with my husband. Tried their pizza and calzkne yesterday....so very good. Definitely my family's go to for Mediterranean or pizza. The location is small and a blast from the past but very well kept. The owners are very pleasant and attentive as needed.
