Ashland Nursing and Rehabilitation has new management and nursing staff that is awesome! I have been coming to this building for over a year, and following my patients the level of care they receive is amazing. The nursing staff is wonderful and I can always count on them to give me detailed updates on patients. Great place to be and have them care for your loved ones!!

Ashland Nursing and Rehab is an excellent location for having your loved ones cared for. The new administration and staff have been so attentive to the needs of my grandmother. They are all so personable and I am comforted in knowing that when I'm not there, she's in good hands. I have also noticed some wonderful new renovations to the location itself. New artwork, clean spaces for activities, landscaping upgrades, etc. have all been such a nice addition. You can truly tell the management cares about the residents and making them comfortable and happy.

Ashland Health and Rehab has new administrative staff! There are positive changes happening, and there are lots of improvements due to the new leadership. Staff is being held accountable, and it shows. It shows in the care and the cleanliness. There are lots of new faces, which, in this case, is a good thing. Great job,

The new administration team has come in and started to hold people accountable. It's really nice to see the changes they are making and it makes me feel that they care! I have noticed a change in staffing and the cleanliness of the building has greatly improved over the last month or so. Our loved ones are very thankful!

The new Executive Director and management staff have done a great job of improving this facility. The renovations were long over due and look great! The nursing staff is great also.

Since the new administration team started there have been a lot of positive changes and improvements, The new team is making the staff accountable. The quality of patient care is improving and the cleanliness of the building has improved there is a lot of new faces that seem to be eager to help the patients in any way they can!

My dad spent over a month at Ashland Nursing and Rehab and everyone who cared for him was excellent. From the CNAs to the nutrition employees to the nurses and anyone else who saw him daily- they were caring and always available to provide whatever he needed. If we had a question or concern, they addressed it promptly. They genuinely care for their patients, and we are thankful that my dad was in their care.

For a Skilled Care and Rehab , this place is truly stepping up its game !! With new adminastration team , & the cleanliness of the building , also holding their staff accountable & praising their staff that go Above & Beyond ,all the new faces !! This place has come a long way !! Also their DON John Glover his professionalism , and his sincere passion for the patients quality of care and the staff he has on !!! Shows!! Lead By Example !!! And it showing in all areas of this building !! Way to Go !!

Wow I must say I am extremely impressed with Ashland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. They have one of the BEST Administrative teams!! Between the new faces, positive energy, impeccable clinical staff, accountability, and cleanliness this is a facility I would recommend. Great Job 👏

Been here about 3 months. The staff is friendly, kitchen is making the food better, and the building is clean. Really like the new renovations they have done too.

My abuela was moved to this facility a few weeks ago and if I could give this review 10 stars I would! The facility is wonderful, the staff and management really care about the people here and it shows! My abuela has made friends with everyone and cannot stop talking about how at home she feels.

For starters let me introduce myself, my name is Amyre I am 46 years old. After reading some of the reviews I want to tell you not to believe over half of them. Maybe they were disgruntled employees or people who have nothing better to do than to tell lies . I speak from experience Ashland Nursing and Rehab saved my life. I was admitted this past February, then was discharged in May. When I came to the facility I could not walk, feed, bathe, or dress myself, and when I spoke it sounded like gibberish. I remember crying myself to sleep at night, feeling hopeless but I was not alone. The nurses, staff and residents became my second family. I want to thank Francine for being such a comfort for me, always looking out for me, love you. I want to thank Yussiff my Physical Therapist for helping and encouraging me, I no longer need a wheelchair, I can run. My Speech Therapist Hunter helped turn my gibberish into perfect formed sentences. I still go there about once a week as a visitor to see my family. Thank you Ashland Nursing and Rehab, I am now over 100 percent better, I have my independence back.❤ If your loved one is in need of great care and absolutely amazing therapy listen to one who has experienced being there, Ashland Nursing and Rehab should be your first choice.

I have been a resident here for nearly five years. Good staff that are real
nice. The activities team is wonderful. Laundry is good with keeping up with my personal clothing items. Meals are typically great and when not, I can order as I please. Gabe the administrator listens to resident concerns and tries his hardest to fix what is wrong. If it was not for him, I would not have my money transferred from previous facility.

I had the pleasure of working with the new administrator Gabe on employee recruitment materials in late 2021. He was nothing short of amazing when it came to our meetings. The way he advocates for his staff as a means of familiar faces to constantly take care of his residents went without saying. Would recommend this facility as long as his license remains on the wall.

Truth be told every nursing home has its very own issues, however the dedication, and the love from our staff members at ANRC makes it all worth the while. I'm the previous Activity Director and you cant believe every thing you read. yes its a old building however, consulate is doing everything in there power to remodel, everything takes time. The staff and the dedication they have to the resident's is remarkable, no one is left out or left behind. Our core values which is CHIRP short for: Compassion, Honesty, Integrity, Respect, & Passion are values that are installed in our staff members, even myself when I was part of the team, under the leadership and administration: Gabriel Dixon ( Administrator) he is awesome! great guy to work with and very understanding. Brittney hunter (ADON) she will make sure your loved one is okay day or night and if something is to happen she will make sure its resolved. Stephaney Delk (DON) does a great job working with the nurses to address any issues/concerns and they all go above and beyond to turn it around. Its without a doubt that I can say I truly believe in this team and this building, although they face many challenges at times I know they have the power to turn it around.

What a Hidden Gem in Hanover County Ashland Va! After a emotional rollercoaster experience - I can't thank the team enough for making my mom's transition a positive experience. Brittany is awesome making things happen! Leeda - Freda- Tammy all her wing nurses have been exceptional! The other staff within the facility are helpful & friendly. Gabriel the Administrator was very compassionate and available to talk. Brenda the reciptionist is such a wonderful ambassador for the facility too! Exceptional Outstanding Team ❤ plus the facility is clean - comfortable for love one to call home. Update ✅ Mom continues to enjoy her space and the care she is receiving at the Ashland Nursing and Rehabilitation! Loves the nurses and the activities . Plus she has made new friends and the staff is WONDERFUL -- we made the right choice to choose this great facility (family).
