Twenty Four Hundred Diner

I’ve grew up eating at the 2400 Diner. It was always my mom’s go to for a quick breakfast, lunch, or dinner! Not only is the family feel and nostalgia amazing… but the food is full of comfort. I ordered the grilled cheese today. Yes a grilled cheese! But to be honest I’m very particular about my grilled cheese sandwhiches and it’s my FAVORITE. I’ve carried on the tradition and this is now my son’s favorite as well. My Mom ordered the scrapple with 2 eggs and the breakfast special which was the apple and caramel french toast. The french toast was pretty soggy from the caramel sauce but it still had great flavor. The service is always amazing… if you are looking for affordable, quick, and comforting, I 10/10 recommend.

What a great place. I had the #5 Special...pancakes, French toast, sausage, and eggs. My wife had the western omelet. Everything was awesome. Great service, super friendly, and the building itself is an interesting modernist design. Highly recommended.

The service was great and the food was excellent. Only complaint they seem to serve out of order. For example I arrived and then a elderly couple arrived. After we both arrived another young couple arrived .After seating me they served the young couple. I went to the server privately and stated the elderly couple was next and it was too hot for them to continue to wait. The server stated the young couple called ahead, however she would go check on them. She followed up on the situation and ensured the elderly couple was seated within 10 minutes of my concern . Yes I was going to give up our seats if it was necessary as I hope my middle age years will be as graceful as theirs. Overall a great experience.

We stopped by Twenty Four Hundred Diner for a late breakfast and it was unbelievable. They do have a smaller seating area so take a number if you have to because the food and atmosphere is more than worth the wait. Luckily there were two booths open when we arrived. I was STARVING so I ordered the house special breakfast which consisted of a 10 ounce New York Strip Steak, three eggs, home fries, and toast. I don't know what to rave about first, the steak was hand cut by the chef and cooked to medium rare perfection. The home fries were the closest representation of a Jersey to Boston diner than I have found in this area. The meal brought an actual tear to my eye, it certainly could have fed to our more (I did not share). My date had the Country Ham, egg and home fries platter. She said it was awesome and would order it again. We will definitely return

We have had food from here multiple times (mostly take out), and every dish is delicious! We decided to dine in for once, and they did not disappoint. Like many older diners, it is very small. The place is always busy on the weekends, so be prepared to wait if you want to dine in.

I had the grilled cheese with bacon and it was as perfect as a diner grilled cheese typically is. Fries were really good too. The restaurant is smaller but also less crowded than Mason-Dixon down the street, even on a Saturday at lunch time, so getting a place to sit was not a problem for me.

I just wanted an omelet and some grits! It hit the spot! Brought back great memories of eating at diners with my father! I will go back!

Hands-down, the best breakfast in Fredericksburg. Even when they are busy, you typically get seated pretty quickly and they are happy to take your phone number. The staff are lovely and efficient.

Love this place! It's my favorite diner to go to for breakfast every weekend. I go in and order the #2 Special which is my favorite! The food is great, the waitresses call you by name or hun, and it's a comfortable atmosphere for all. So good that the bar and tables always stay busy!

I always order the steak and cheese at this place. It's the BEST in the area. The staffs were extremely nice. Price was very reasonable. I would recommend you come check this place out. Parking can be a little hard during peak hours but my god, the food was delicious!

Cozy atmosphere, excellent customer service, staff is very attentive. Food is great with home cooked flavor. A must try if you are in the area

First time at this restaurant and they did not disappoint. Fantastic ruben, spinach pie, and onion rings. Wait of about 20-30 minutes was worth it.

The food was amazing and the service was great! The prices were also super reasonable for the amount and quality of food you’re getting. 10/10 oh and some of the BEST mimosas I’ve ever had.

A very nice, old school diner with good food and friendly staff. Definitely recommend, especially for non Americans that want a piece of a real old American diner experience.

Delicious and a lot of food for the money, especially compared to other diners in the area. Word of warning though that there isn't a lot of space, so you may have to wait, but it's worth it.

Awesome food and great prices . Servers were also attentive . Only issue is I wish this place was bigger so there wasnt a wait on the weekend but etheir way five stars across the board

We’re visiting from Cincinnati & wanted to find a great place for breakfast…2400 Diner did not disappoint!! Amazing food, great portions & very fair pricing! We definitely plan on trying to get here once more before heading back home.

Small and old very historic restaurant.
No fancy place but cozy and very friendly, very good food. Always busy so expect to wait little but worthwhile.

Great downtown diner! The food is always good, fresh and in plenty supply. The staff is awesome!

Visited again when clam chowder was the daily soup ... amazing stuff! Clams were tender, not rubbery or chewy. A hint of some herb in the background that I can't quite put my finger on ... maybe fresh bay leaf? So good! Potatoes were big enough that they didn't disappear into mush. I'll be dreaming about this soup.

Bean soup is always amazing here, but this time it lacked the flavors I remembered. Triple decker sandwich is my fave! Very homey atmosphere. Service is so friendly and fast.
