Randolph-Macon College

I recently attended the Randolph Macon Symphony orchestra with the Vcu Health Orchestra and wind ensemble. The performances were amazing!! I loved the variety of music that was played.

we are grateful that the students have been able to manage their behavior well enough to keep the campus open for in-person classes. For some majors, this is absolutely critical.

Also, the quality of education has been very high.

Great visit to RM-C today. Campus as usual looked great even in the heavy rain. The gold and black flower beds (school colors) are a nice touch, and I didn't even attend this college!!

The college hosts Ashland's Strawberry Fair, during summer break in June. Grounds , buildings, the area and all are very nice! A great small town college in a truly great town.

I went four years to R-MC and graduated with a degree in history. Just prior to my senior year recruiters from Fairfax County Public Schools came to campus and told me to get practice teaching and a semester of educational psychology and they would hire me on a provisional basis. I was employed by FCPS in August and graduated the previous May-June. I made a career our of teaching, counseling and administration for 30 years and was elected to the Loudoun County School Board. My favorite experiences were there and we did not have anything as nice as they have on campus now in terms of facilities. They have always had good instruction, however. Most of my friends to this day are former classmates from my time there. I am trying to encourage my son that a "small" school is an ideal learning environment. Small classes allow you to have personal relationships with members of the faculty, who are dedicated to your success.

I made drawings of the campus and sold then through the Alumni Relations Dept...lovely campus. My dad, husband and son graduated from the college.

It's fun once the local strawberry fair comes around in June it's always so lively and fun!

Social distancing protocols are in place...I noticed several tents with seating for student dining are set up. Staff are wearing face masks as directed. It appears that procedures for safety are being followed at Randolph-Macon College.
