Fredericksburg Cupcake

Walked past Fredericksburg Cupcake heading downtown and didn't even know it existed 😅 I'm so glad I went inside! I couldn't decide, so I got a 6-pack and a to-go egg-less cookie dough (chocolate chip) - SO GOOD! The service was delightful and the cupcakes are delicious. The frosting was fluffy and not overpowering. None of the flavors left more to be desired, my family liked every one of them. We got dark chocolate, mint chocolate, strawberry, vanilla chocolate, and lemon. I can't wait to bring my friends/family through this cute little cupcake shop when I show them around town =)

If you are looking for variety, this is your spot! Gluten-free and vegan needs are met as well. Late night hours are the cherry on top!

Parking is hit or miss because it's on the street, but take advantage of the beautiful downtown and stroll in.

This place is the definition of "hole in the wall"! It's a wonderful little space just off the main strip in Downtown Fredericksburg, VA! It fills a void in the downtown store paradigm as there had once been a cupcake store in the area that closed several years ago.

According to one of the team members on site, the store has only been open for about two months at the time of this review. I encourage all to make a venture downtown to check it out!

P.S. the peanut butter cupcake was ASTOUNDING!!!!

Do you ever think, "I'm craving cake but I know I'll eat the whole thing if I'm left to my own devices." Well, then this place is for you.
Cupcakes are great portion control for those of us with zero self control. Plus, everyone in your crew can choose their own flavor, so NO FIGHTING! They have a huge range of flavors: red velvet, peanut butter chocolate, Guinness chocolate and strawberry vanilla just to name a few. They're big enough to add your favorite over-the-top cake candles too.

They had only one flavor that was dairy-free when we went, but it was amazing! The cupcake was light and fluffy, chocolaty delicious, and it had a little bit of raspberry jam on the top. And there was no frosting on it (which I really liked).
The only downside was that when I went back the next day, they didn’t have them anymore. So, call ahead, maybe.

I just stopped by here to check it out. When I walked through the door it smelled so good and I love how the place looks. The owner and staff are very friendly. I bought peanut butter, red velvet and I think the third was Guinness (not entirely sure) cupcakes. I also bought edible cookie dough. Cookie dough is good but their cupcakes are even better. They are very moist and the frosting isn't heavy. I will definitely be back to try their other flavors! I used to go to sweet reasons for cupcakes, but I will be going here from now on. Pictured below is the peanut butter cupcake...i forgot to get ones for the other cupcakes before I ate them!

Best cupcakes in Fredericksburg, VA! They make my birthday cake out of their strawberry cupcake and it was amazing! Their cupcakes taste real but remain light. They have all kinds of delicious flavors but my favorite is the strawberry & lemon. If you call before, they will box and have your order ready. Keep being sweet #FredericksburgCupcake! Yummo!

First, I wanna say that the customer service I received was OUTSTANDING!!! Brandon took care of me and he was so sweet! They were going to close early tonight because they nearly sold out completely, and they stayed open just for me! I had an amazing first time experience! I will definitely be sending all of my friends here! The cupcakes were delicious, and the vegan cupcakes were phenomenal! Thank y’all again! 😊

SO DELICIOUS! We tried the carrot cake, red velvet, chocolate, vanilla, cookie dough, and maple bacon, all of them are 10/10.

PHENOMENAL!!! I purchased a dozen cupcakes for my husband's birthday and they were a huge hit. The men loved the Guinness flavor. I would highly recommend them! I will be a repeat customer for sure!

Beat cupcakes hands down! The cake portion is moist and not overly sweet so the frosting they make compliments very well. Variety or flavors! The gluten free is my favorite! If you haven't had these yet you are missing out!!

Had a wonderful experience here this past Friday. My friend and I went in and got some cupcakes and cookie dough. I tried the peanut butter cookie dough which was amazing!! The cupcakes were also awesome with delicious flavor! The mint cupcake was so good. We went in around 3 and the other cookie dough flavors were already sold out...keep more in stock please 😊

Best damn red velvet cupcake I think I've ever had...girl behind counter was friendly and greeted us. My boyfriend does not dish out compliments or good reviews very easily...but he said their peanut butter and chocolate cupcake was absolutely delicious which is a very rare thing for him to say....we will definitely be back.

These have to hands down be the best cupcakes in town and very honestly I would say probably even in the state. I'm not a cupcake person by any means but I was picking up some cupcakes for some coworkers and decided to try one for myself - I was in such awe because like I said, I'm not a cupcake person at all, but Fredericksburg Cupcake has me drooling over their cupcakes and craving them ever since. The staff was so nice and the shop is super duper neat and tidy. Highly recommend! ☆☆☆☆☆

Great place, cupcakes are soft and moist and the buttercream is full and rich. The flavors I've tried have come through brilliantly without being overpowering, and they have a great selection!

I made the mistake of scheduling my pickup of my son's birthday cupcakes on the evening of the Xmas parade. I couldn't find parking anywhere close by. One of the employees met me half way! I was going to post a good review just based on the excellent service, but then we ate the cupcakes! So good! Everyone loved them. The strawberry was my favorite! I will be going back again. Next time I'll check the Fredericksburg calender of events first. 😉

These cupcakes are just AMAZING! They even have edible cookie doe too that just melts in your mouth. Never had anything that came close, I tried 5 flavors and all perfect, 2 cookie doe flavors both great. Can't wait to try the many others as well in the near future.

Went here with my bff last week and man had I been missing out! The edible cookie dough is to die for. Cupcakes are amazing too but I highly recommend the cookie dough. A staple place for dessert in downtown Fredericksburg for sure.

The process was easy for me to reserve a cake tasting for me and my family, and all for one set price. I enjoyed the flavors and the young gentleman who presented us with the different cake options was very informative.

You are not just going for the freshest and most delicious cupcake you have ever tasted - you are going for the experience! Recalling when Georgetown Cupcakes opened in DC (no affiliation) and the line was up the block and all puns corner! You get that same “want” for a cupcake right here. The experience of sharing this deliciousness with strangers in line with you.. Walk around our town after munching away... or sit right there at the table by window with a cup of coffee.. enjoy!!
