We bought a 40+ year old house in North Side and the water heater looked rough and outside hose bibs were leaking. A friend recommended us to call Paul Brown Plumbing & Heating, so we did. Randon is great to work with over the phone and text. She was able to get a team out to the house in a few days to take care of the water heater hose bibs and to help us look at some other potential issues we had. The house itself was in rough shape so we decided to have them replace all the pipes to pex while we did other renovation projects. They came out three times and now the house has all new pipes, they fixed a drain pipe in the wall (another crazy issue we discovered after the fact) and made all the connections to the sinks, dishwasher, toilet, and tub. The installation team was punctual, respectful, neat, and thorough. The pricing was consistent with the quality of work this company provides and well worth it! We will use them again should we need their services (hopefully we won't, but you know how that goes) and we recommend giving them a call for your plumbing needs.

Called Paul Brown Plumbing about my pilot going out for my water heater. The Plumber came the next afternoon told me he guessed the problem was the thermal coupler but the part would be $300 and then told me I had no problem. I asked how much I owed him and he said don't worry about it but to call them if I had more problems. No work was performed but yet I received a bill for $190.00 to have a conversation with a plumber. The same problem still exists today yet I am out $190.00

Paul Brown Plumbing did the plumbing for the contractor who built our house. In the first year, we had numerous plumbing failures, that resulted in drywall damage. Luckily the home was still under warranty so the builder was required to fix everything. However, we have had regular issues ever since. We have been lucky enough for these problems to be minor and relatively easy to fix. However, we have recently found that they did not properly seal around the faucet spout, and the water has been running behind the tub and into the wall when the shower is being used. We are just now seeing the evidence of this from a water spot on the ceiling. We have hired a competent plumber to come and fix everything that Paul Brown Plumbing has completely screwed up. I would recommend staying far, far away from this company, unless you like watching your money go down the drain... or in this case, missing it altogether.

The first job I used them for- they were great. After that, there wasn't a job where they made less than 2 trips because they didn't get it right the first time. On a bathtub removal they sawed the entrance way without asking my permission, then offered/gave nothing to fix the damages.

The person who answers their calls has no customer service skills to speak of and can't understand basic service requests.

The secretary that works with this organization is condescending and rude. Will not use these people again.
