Holiday Inn Express & Suites Deming Mimbres Valley, an IHG Hotel

Made unexpected road trip from San Antonio to Los Angeles. Stopped at the halfway point in Deming, NM. Very grateful to be able to walk into Holiday Inn and reserve room for the night. Greeted by Mr. Carlos Caballeros who patiently answered my questions and accommodated request for 2nd floor and view. The hearty meal prepared by Elijah for the complimentary breakfast buffet was delicious and nutrition. The checkout process provided by Philip was problem free, provided printed receipt. Excellent service, great accomodations, friendly staff Definitely recommend to anyone traveling in the area or someone desiring a good staycation who lives in the area.

I have to give a shout out to the Management team. I came in at 705am they got me a room so I could shower and send some emails out. The Hilton next door turned me away even though I am a diamond member with a reservation. So IHG you just got a frequent traveler and look forward to working with you all. Finally great job front desk!!

Full disclosure, this 5-star rating was not given because I had a perfect hotel stay, but because of the response I received from management about the concerns I had during my visit. I have always felt the hallmark of a great hotel is how they respond to complaints. The general manager not only listened to my feedback, but thanked me for bringing my concerns to his attention. There aren't many good hotels in the Deming area except this one. So, when I saw a decline in service and amenities I worried this hotel is going the way of so many other properties in the area. I truly don't think this will happen as long as this manager continues to oversee operations of this hotel. I will definitely return because I am confident the missteps that ooccurred during my visit will be remedied in no time.

This is our third stay and our experience truly feels like we are living at our HOME AWAY from home !!! Every one of our needs are met with a smile, respect, enthusiasm and joy !! Elijah, Damian and Carlos, at the front desk, have been especially helpful. THANK YOU Elijah, Damian, Carlos, Angel, Ana, Oceana, Ingrid, Gloria, Xavier, Orlando and all !! This hotel is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed it. It is clean, it is friendly, and all that they offer is top quality. Thank you, Everyone!!!

The front desk staff is helpful and give me the handicap room. I highly appreciate your kind consideration. The room is huge and toilet was huge too. Very clean and comfortable. We slept good and woke up with some delicious breakfast. Never had problem at all during our stay. Will recommend this hotel.

Always stay here on my way to Texas. Comfortable and clean rooms. Sometimes you can get a great deal on suites and pay the same for a regular standard room. Pet friendly and staff is always so nice and accommodating. Linens are clean, beds are comfortable, bathrooms clean with decent toiletries included. They provide some microwaveable food and snacks in case you don't want to leave the hotel. Recommend to stop and stay here when traveling.

I've enjoyed my stay here so far. They are a great staff specially the Manager Elijah. He's being always looking for our safety and any issues that we have, he resolve it. I also love the pool and the jacuzzi heheh.

Biggest and best rooms during our entire 2 week long trip. Stayed in holiday inns the whole time. Always love the breakfast!! So happy y'all had the biscuits and gravy for the kids. Some of the others didn't and they ended up just eating plain cereal.

This hotel has awesome customer service. The Manager Elijah is super kind and always ready to solve any issues or concerns. The cleaning crew they do an awesome job I have been staying for a while now and I don't have any complaints. The breakfast is great 👍.

Room was quiet and clean. My wife accidentally left a small container of ear rings that the staff found. They notified us and shipped the rings back to my wife. My experience is that a lot of other hotels do not take the time, or effort, to do that so kudos and thank you to the staff.

The hotel staff here was top tier from the front desk to the housekeeping, breakfast crew, and Maintenace. The hotel is very clean family friendly even pet friendly. Big dining area indoor pool with a hot tub and small gym with all the essentials. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Great place to stop and rest and recharge for the weekend.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Beds are so nice and firm. Great night's sleep. The front desk staff are helpful and caring. The housekeeping team ready to help. The soaps and lotions are Watkins brand and so refreshing. We had to stay due to a family emergency and what a relief to find such kind and compassionate people. The true gem of the whole experience was Joe. He ran the most delicious and accommodating in hotel 🍳 breakfast I've ever seen in this type of venue. Our daughter required continuous ice packs and he went out of his way to offer a section of the freezer we could use. He asked about her everyday and couldn't have been any kinder. Thank you Holiday Inn for being there when we needed you most. 🙏🥰

Family of 4. This was our last stay of a two week road trip and I was pleasantly surprised! After having bad experiences of getting cheaper hotel deals I devoted to go with a little higher rate for a hotel with higher reviews. It did live up to it. Room clean, free hot breakfast was amazing with eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, and get this, an automated pancake machine that made delicious pancakes!!! The front desk clerk at check in was mediocre, but nice enough..I checked in around 11pm. Keurig coffee machine in the room..coffee and tea available. Mini fridge & microwave.. And bathroom stocked with higher end shampoo, conditioner, body gel. I am happy with the stay.

We were in the Deming area and needed a last minute stay for three nights. We had a rental that did not work out. We had our pup with us - and we needed a space to be able to work virtually - we checked the hotels in the area who were willing to help us out - As we approached the front desk of the Holiday Inn and began sharing with Kip our situation, he offered a very positive energy, understanding and immediately focused on how he could help to accommodate us. He went above and beyond to make sure that we would have a place that we could stay with our pup and to work virtually. He assured us that there would be breakfast in the morning. He personally called us when our room was ready! The room was clean and sanitized. There was more than enough room for what we needed and the hotel sits directly off of highway 10 with easy on/off ramp. If you find yourself needing a stay in the Deming area be sure and ask for Kip!

Convenient location for a roadtrip stop. Rooms are ok. When I stayed here 2 years ago I got better deals and service. They were fully booked this time

Not the latest furniture, which means no USB power, but clean and quiet. Off the highway enough to not hear trucks all night, and constant fan switch. Nice and dark and quiet, good value.

I suppose they deserve 5 stars when the only way they fell short was not having HIE's famous, delicious cinnamon rolls. The pool and jacuzzi were great. The fitness room was nicely equipped. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was great. But I did miss those cinnamon rolls.

Nice rooms, decent location, but the front desk female was rude and uninterested in customers. We approached the desk, stood directly in front of her, and had to speak loudly to her to get her attention. Hey customer service skills were awful! She also didn't read the specifics of the customer profile which stated that we were to be assigned rooms on the top floor. I don't have her name with me right now, but she was possibly in her 20s with dark hair and the last name on our reservation was McClain on 29-31JUL22.
Other than the front desk female showing no concern, the trip was very nice, the hotel doesn't have many amenities, but the rooms are decent and appeared to be clean.

Beautiful rooms. Outstanding customer service! Liz is amazing! She really listens to the guests needs and requests. Best sleep I’ve had in months. Would definitely recommend.
