Justin Platzer, MD

This was my first Mohs surgery and I was very nervous. Dr. Platzer and his assistant were terrific and I was done within 45 minutes. I would highly recommend Waters Edge for all your skin care needs.

Dr. Platzer is always patient and understanding. He listens to my problems and always does a great job of treating them. Every procedure he has performed for me over the l5 or more years I have been a patient has always succeeded with a perfect result. I had a little skin cancer (squamous) removed from my arm. I decided to pay extra to have the Moe surgery and I’ve been told that doctor Platzer was very good for that type of surgery. Please read about that type of surgery. First he removed the size of a quarter than you have to cut it more like an eye shape to be able to close it with a nice line. I didn’t heal very nice at first but I have to say my skin was already damaged because I previously used the chemo cream to kill the cancer (which didn’t work this time. Doctor Platzer made many correction for me to remove redness around the scar and to smooth the scar. He also gave me some strong cream that I applied for a few weeks at a time and now I have to say it’s night and day corrected! Much better and I’m grateful he really wanted me to be happy and he didn’t give up until we were both impressed with the results. Thank you Justin Platzer MD

I've been going to Dr Platzer since he started his career. He has become I think probably one of the top Derms in his field. He has done a few Mohs surgeries on me. lt went perfectly and there were no scars. He did one on top of one my ears and had to do a skin graft on it. I can't remember which ear it was and there is no sign of it to tell me. Now I am getting one on my nose maybe, waiting on test results.

Dr Platzer was excellent in performing MOHS surgery on a basal cell legion on my chin. His nurse was efficient, kind and helpful as well as well as the office staff.

I had to wait a little bit but once inside everything went fast and smooth, I am thankful for the removal of a cyst so far painless.
