I’ve been here 3 times now and I swear it gets better every time. The food is absolutely phenomenal and the staff is great. A friendly local spot with delicious eats. They have a proprietary burger Patty that absolutely smacks. So good. And their Carolina reaper chicken sandwich is not for the faint of heart, A spice lovers dream. Don’t hesitate to stop in and grab a bite, you will not regret it!

Huge rave for Alex’s Fresh kitchen! What a hidden gem. Very unassuming place with outstanding food. I tried a burger and a great cake desert. Alex himself was there and was extremely personable. I added a pic of us so if you see him say Hi from Joe. The burger was deserving of best burger in Orlando. And the options are both unique yet not outlandish. It was a bit of a drive for me but at the advice of my friend at travelingfoodguys I went, and it was great!!!! Thank you to Alex for the experience, and Christopher for getting me to go! A great experience.

Went in with my brothers today for the first time. We were greeted by the owner and cashier both were super friendly and gave recommendations. The food was exceptional, all three of us cleaned our plates. The fries were fresh cut and the batter on the fish sandwich was amazing. They both realllly enjoyed their meals too.

Definitely fresh! I got the Pablo & Andy’s steak wrap with the home fries, I loved it. Also purchased Alex’s bacon burger, it was large and good. I’m so excited to try this whaaat cookie! Thank you, for the great service.

Our love for fried green tomatoes led us to try this restaurant and we were not disappointed. The tomatoes were fried to perfection, with just the right size and accompanied by a sauce that was very good. My husband had the fish sandwich, and it turned out to be a big hit. The fish was generously sized, and the flavors were spot on. As for me, I decided to go for the chicken wrap, and I'm glad I did. The chicken was incredibly juicy. Initially, I was a bit hesitant about the cost, but I soon realized that it was worth every penny. The portion sizes were more than generous, and I even had leftovers for dinner.

I AM ABSOLUTELY BLOWN AWAY BY HOW GOOD THIS PLACE IS! If you have not visited Alex’s Fresh Kitchen yet, you NEED TO. RIGHT NOW. We had this place saved for a long time because it had extensive gluten-free options (more than almost anywhere else in Orlando) and we finally stopped in recently - we got the Mambacita and the Double Crunch sandwiches. My fiancé is gluten-free and I am not, and I’m telling you right now: even the gluten-free versions of these sandwiches were some of the BEST I have EVER had anywhere…even including ones that aren’t gluten-free!! If you are craving an absolutely massive burger, fried chicken sandwich, or literally anything else, check here first before anywhere else!

The Mambacita is absolute heaven: a burger patty AND fried chicken, fried pickles and fried jalapeños, cheese, aioli, and more. I can’t even believe they can do all that gluten-free!! As for the Double Crunch, it’s two pieces of fried chicken on a sandwich…as if one wasn’t enough! 😂 It was amazing, super crunchy and seasoned perfectly, and just REALLY good fried chicken. Chick-Fil-A, Popeye’s, KFC and any other chicken place can’t even compare. I should know because I go to those places regularly. This is so much bigger, better, fresher, and more flavorful!!

We also got their aioli flight (basically 3 different aiolis - garlic, chipotle, and I think cilantro?) with some homemade fries, and this place just kept hitting home runs. They have REALLY good fries, completely addicting, and they are equal to, if not better, than any other place with food fries out there. Gonna get these every time we visit!!

Call them up and ask what their specials for the day are - they apparently are constantly mixing things up and creating new menu items daily. You could come here every day for a month and get a different thing every time! If you follow their Instagram they’re posting what new creations they have for the day - sometimes it’s a lobster roll, sometimes a crunchwrap, sometimes a pastrami sandwich! Literally anything you can think of! They also are constantly making fresh new desserts every day, so there’s so many sweet choices as well. And the fact that so many menu items and desserts can be made gluten-free is just the icing on the cake. This place is truly a hidden gem in Casselberry and more people need to know about it. Check out Alex’s Fresh Kitchen - you will NOT be disappointed!!

EDIT: Be sure to try their fried pickles (can be made gluten-free) as well as their cheesecakes. I just got the apple crumb cheesecake and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. This place is so, so good!!

This place is the real deal. Scratch made food from people who care. I tried the Mamba, it was the best burger I can remember. They use a unique blend of spices, but it’s not in your face and over powering. Great, bun, fried pickles and sauces on the burger as well. We’ll definitely be back.

First time here after knowing about it for a while. I should've come sooner! Got a Mamba burger and a McCheezin. Both were absolutely delicious. Fried green tomatoes as a app as well. Highly recommend coming here!

The food and service here are eclipsed by no one. The salads were so fresh, I swear they picked the veggies just before assembly. And the dressing was obviously hand crafted in house with a subtle sweetness and depth of flavor that is rare to find.

The sandwiches were amazing too. I had the Pixanator, which was a tower of chicken and waffles with eggs and pixie dust. So yummy!

My wife had the Little Texan which had the perfect combination of sweet and tangy and crispy. I could have easily switched with her and not lost any happiness.

Alex’s Fresh Kitchen creates amazing food consistently. Definitely worth driving across town to visit.

We decided to finally stop here for lunch today. After many times driving by or stopping at Wawa for gas. We would always say "We should try them". And let me tell you, it was OUTSTANDING!! I had the "Alex's Bacon Cheeseburger", my son had the "Tiny Texas". Which was two chicken filets with BBQ jam and cheese and topped with coleslaw. Both sandwiches were fresh, tasty and cooked to perfection. The French fries were perfect. I can't recommend this place more strongly. The staff was welcoming and friendly. When you have "Fresh" in your name you definitely need to back it up. They did and made sure we will be back. GREAT JOB!!!

This was the second time eating here and the second time that I wasn't disappointed. The food is so good. It taste home made. I tried the fried pickles on the side with my burger and Fries. They were all amazing. The service was nice. Everyone asked if everything was good and not only did they greet us when we went in but they also said goodbye when we were leaving. I will definitely be going back and recommending this restaurant.

I’m in Orlando about 4 times a year… even though I have my go-to spots, my agenda gave me an opportunity to skip breakfast and do brunch.

So lucky to have found this spot!

From the moment you step in here, you just sense that there is passion and long term vocation at work. The way you are greeted, the joy of the staff interacting with each other… they are not just putting out food in a push button fashion. There is a obvious care and attention to detail with every dish that leaves the kitchen.

Upon ordering the chicken and waffles, I was presented with side options, beyond fries I was offered a side salad. My salad was fresh and delicious and just the right portion for a side and their homemade dressing made it that much better.

The chicken and waffles were delicious and exceptional. If you know, you know. The chicken should be seasoned in a way that will not overpower the taste of the waffle and the texture should be just right so that when you’re cutting into it, layered on the waffle, you don’t end up totally destroying your waffle.

I’m not sure how long this place has been here, but I truly hope they do really well and remain in business for years to come.

First time coming here, and it was delicious! We got the fried chicken sandwich and the bacon cheeseburger. Both were so juicy, tender, and flavourful. The homemade fries were crispy and really good! I recommend checking this place out if you are in the area. We definitely will be back!

Top quality food crafted with heart. It's a comfortable little walk in cafe atmosphere, very clean, and the staff is friendly. I had the reaper chicken sandwich, and let me warn you, it's hot, but the excellent flavor comes through amazingly. I want to try the entire menu, it all looks so good. Will be back for sure. Wow. Absolutely wow. Deliciousness to the 100th power! Alex's menu is very different and what blew me away was the brisket and Mac N cheese wrap. Who thinks of this?. Great way to spend a weekend in Orlando. Excellent creativity you can tell they put heart into it. Def coming back. Keep it creative!

Fries were undercooked, and they forgot my cheese sauce for the fries. We did show up right when they were opening up, so that can surely be forgiven. Other than that, the Mamba and the Tiny Texan were absolutely delicious. The owner was very friendly, will definitely be back. (And will ask for the fries well-done :P)

I saw in the reader awards for Orlando Weekly last year that a lot of people thought that Alex's Fresh Kitchen is one of the best restaurants in Castleberry. Well, that's some big talk, so I had to come check it out. It also helped me decided that this place had recently won the grand prize for Orlando Burger Week with their The Mamba. Lot of hype.

I came here with a couple of friends. We got in right at the opening of their business day. It was counter service, so I waited at the counter. Not a warm welcome, but I did get someone to come over to take my order.

I took the Mamba a step farther and ordered their Mambacita (8oz. beef patty with 24 spices, 5 oz. fried chicken breast, garlic & spicy aioli's, bacon jam, fried house-made pickles, fried jalapeños, house-made honey mustard, lettuce and cheddar cheese sauce on a toasted brioche bun).

I know, it sounds like a overblown gimmick burger, but it was anything but. It was big, yes, but it was still able to be compressed enough for some real bites. Thank God for that soft brioche. Both patties were banging with flavor. Please, pour your fries on the plate so your cheese can drip all over them. Very unctuous, so that bacon jam was very appreciated. Just a solid burger all around.

I also got to try the Allison's Choice (slow cooked beef brisket with Gouda and cheddar mac n cheese, garlic aioli and white cheddar cheese tightly snuggled in a wrap). This thing sounded amazing. I mean, it has the word snuggled in its description. That's a key indicator of quality.

And yes, the quality was there. Ooey, gooey mac with a solid core of brisket. I wish there was more brisket, and I wish it actually reached end-to-end of the burrito, but it was still a very good burrito. Also, huge fan of the home potatoes it was served with. Well-charred potatoes, rustic cut veggies. I loved it.

Overall, I agree with the fine readers of Orlando Weekly. This has to be one of the best restaurants in Castleberry. I definitely look forward to coming back one day!

The McCheezin totally blew my mind. Hands down the BEST and most fresh burger patty I've ever had. Topped with a fried Mac and cheese wheel. Everything we tried was amazing, this restaurant lives up to its reputation. Go there now, super fun menu, ultra creative fusion of food bursting with flavor. 10 stars 🌟

On a quest for the greatest sandwich/burger of your life? Congrats, you’ve made it! The setting is small and not too visible to people who are unaware of this gem. I used to work out at the Crunch gym across the street and never noticed it until my brother told me. Despite the small space, Alex’s fresh kitchen delivers some of the best food I’ve ever had and I genuinely mean that. Please come here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You won’t be disappointed! Oh yeah, I forgot to mention they sell a $5 cheeseburger!!! Sorry in advance for getting you hooked.

This is a DO NOT MISS! Especially if you are GF or celiac, but even if you aren't you will be Happy! We drove almost an hour each way from the resort in Kissimmee. It was worth every mile, and every dollar!

Small family owned spot. The staff are awesome! So knowledgeable about food allergies. Alex is the owner and was on site. Couldn't ask for better service! Food was perfect!
