This place is cool! The outdoors are totally free and perfect for kids (of all ages). There is a fee to tour the museum inside. The ships are amazing and really give you a sense of the hardships of battle. After your done here, you can go directly to the beach in the same parking lot, or the playground next door. BTW parking is ample and also free 😃

So much better than expected! My wife spent a lot more time reading the displays next to the exhibits, and was more interested than she thought she would have been going in. The story telling is great, displays include everything from vehicles, boats, helicopters and gear. Great gift shop with reasonable things appropriate for friends and family. Discounts for families, seniors and vets. Go!

The National Navy UDT-SEAL Museum in Florida is truly an epic experience for anyone interested in the history of the Navy SEALs and the incredible sacrifices they've made for our country. From the moment you step onto the grounds of the museum, you can feel the weight of the history and the importance of the mission these brave men have undertaken.

The museum is filled with an amazing collection of artifacts, exhibits, and interactive displays that bring to life the heroic stories of the Navy SEALs. From the early days of the Underwater Demolition Teams to the modern-day operations, every aspect of their remarkable journey is captured in vivid detail.

The highlight of the museum is undoubtedly the actual gear, weapons, and equipment used by the SEALs, including the famous MK V Special Operations Craft and the SEAL Delivery Vehicle. Walking through these displays, you can't help but be in awe of the skill, bravery, and dedication of these warriors.

The museum also offers a number of hands-on experiences, like the chance to climb aboard a real Navy SEAL Mini-Sub and to test your skills on the SEAL Obstacle Course. These activities give you a small glimpse into the intense training and preparation that these elite soldiers undergo in order to carry out their missions.

One of the most moving parts of the museum is the tribute to the fallen heroes of the SEAL teams. The memorial wall and the displays honoring those who have made the ultimate sacrifice serve as a powerful reminder of the tremendous courage and sacrifice of these brave men.

The staff at the museum are incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and dedicated to sharing the incredible history and legacy of the Navy SEALs. Their enthusiasm and willingness to engage with visitors make the experience even more enriching.

Leave it to UDT (oh yeah, Seals) to have a museum this awesome. We've visited three times and each time learn something new or discover a display that somehow missed our attention on the previous visit.
Make sure to visit on a sunny day as the outside displays (mostly SDVs and watercraft) are worth the walk.
The gift store? Just have your credit card at the ready, that's all I have to say about that.

Went to the annual Veterans Day celebration, and the museum staff put on another outstanding show. The fly-in and demonstrations were excellent

Very impressed with this museum! The size can be deceiving from the outside. Every inch of this building is packed full of awesome artifacts and information.

It’s also very clean and well kept. Also very easy to navigate.

I highly recommend! Took us around 1 hour and 15 minutes to slowly walk and watch the videos.

The fulfillment of a dream.

It had been my ambition to visit this museum for many years and in December 2023, I finally managed to tick it off my bucket list.

As a member of the Portuguese military, I had the opportunity to have a military discount and I was very well received. The museum is very detailed, covering the history of the SEALs from the modern era up until WWII, with very dynamic exhibitions, both inside and outside the museum, made up of real elements. The gift shop is the ideal place to pick up one, two or three souvenirs, as much as your heart desires.

Following a great conversation I had with Mrs.Joy (a very helpful lady who volunteers at the museum) I had the opportunity to meet and talk to CDR Grant Mann, the museum's curator. The attached photo speaks for itself when I say that I felt at home.

A stop at the museum is recommended for anyone with an interest in the history of the Navy SEALs and to pay homage and their respects to the fallen operators in the adjoining garden.

Thank you!

What a great place to visit!! I am so thankful for these men who have given everything for our freedom!!! My wife's uncle was on Seal Team 2 and found his name on the wall. The staff was so helpful in finding his graduation photo!

This museum has so much information so I recommend allotting 2-3 hours to tour. I really enjoyed my time there and learned so much about the Histiry of the Navy Seals.

The museum and grounds are spectacular and so well kept. I was super impressed with everything.

Mr. Andy Brady runs the museum and he shared quite a bit of the SEAL history as we were leaning facility.

There is a store on site with souvenirs and more. I highly recommend visiting if in the area or have a passion for the Navy Seals.

The museum was a fantastic experience. It's not the biggest, but each item and exhibit was authentic and high quality. Extra points if you are able to speak to some of the workers regarding the origin stories of some of the pieces. There is a military discount for veterans and active duty. The grounds outside the building also have really great exhibits. To cap it off, you can walk from the parking lot to the beach and enjoy some fun and sun all in one visit

Being a Navy Veteran, this place has been on my list for a while. I finally got the opportunity to go today. (9/3/22) It's an INCREDIBLE experience. A very well laid out museum with tons to see and interact with. It really brought back a lot of memories for me.

If you are planning on going, set aside a GOOD block of time. Also try to go when the weather is good because there is a lot to see outside on the grounds as well.

Just an overall incredible experience. I look forward to going back, hopefully with friends and share all the history contained therein.

Front end staff was great and did a good job of explaining the layout of the museum. Prices are more than fair for what you are seeing in there. Being a 'national' museum, the quality of pieces to see were amazing. Highly recommend!

Absolutely stunning presentation. As a veteran and patriotic American I truly appreciate all this museum had to offer. Very considerately put together and very innovative in their ideas to show the public. I love how interactive it was which helped to maintain the focus of my son. Great overall day I was able to spend with my brother, nephew, and son, learning the history of the frogmen.

What an amazing museum this is! This museum should be on everyone's bucket list, it's a must see. Tons of history, hands on exhibits and so many learning opportunities it's unreal! From beginning to end, outside and inside, the attention to detail and facts is stunning. We thoroughly enjoyed our day here and will probably be back before we leave because I'm sure we missed a lot!

The Navy Seal Museum was both a nice treat and great way to spend a few hours on a Saturday. There’s plenty of free onsite parking and they offer a Veteran’s Discount. I was shocked to learn that the outside obstacle course is more than just for show. You can actually do it if you sign a waiver! The museum is very well put together. I enjoyed looking at all of the old items, reading the stories about how the Navy Seals came to be, and learning about specific Navy Seal members. You’ll find plenty of opportunities to take awesome pictures inside and outside. There’s a great video at the end BUT it’s extremely long. We had to finally make a decision to leave lol. There’s also a gift shop but we didn’t get a chance to check it out. The visit here was both time and money well spent!

This is a small museum but packed full of excellent exhibits, armory, movies and weaponry. The volunteer docents were very good and explained everything to us before we entered. Climb inside the helicopter and you will get a realistic feeling of what it was like to be a paratrooper. The Medal of Honor section was excellent because it gave the full story of the bravery of the recipients. We particularly enjoyed seeing all of the operations that were conducted by Navy Seals outside of declared wars (Panama, Haiti, etc.) The Normandy section was very good as were the sections on canines. Great experience.

Went here with the family and it was so cool there were a lot of cool stuff to look at. Old clothing and guns and cool pictures with stories about items or people. While we were there some veterans were getting filmed for a documentary about their times in the service, and they let us listen in behind the scenes and it was so awesome. There’s a lot of cool little things that teach you about the history of stuff there that I think is cool. Even bought 2 shirts and a bullet hat pin. Would highly recommend for everyone.
