Peaceful and charming old Florida Treasure Coast Beach on A1A. Bathrooms are clean and offer changing stalls. Short distance from parking to the water. Handicap parking and pavilions with picnic tables available.

Enjoyed a beautiful morning at this quiet beach. $2 to park, or use your annual State Park pass. Gentle surf and no rip current today, but a few stinging polyps. Worth the drive and we will be ba k!

Small state park on the beach. Beautiful! Has restrooms, a shelter and grills.

Make sure you view all the attached pictures for a good overview! This is a beautiful beach with simple comforts for those wanting away from commercialized areas. This location consists of a basic restroom facility, a single shower as pictured, picnic tables, a narrow and natural walking path between parking and the beach. There’s no life guard is on duty, so this is not a designated swim location. There is a $2 parking fee.

I really loved walking down this beach! Not crowded at all the day we went but to be fair it was during the week. We saw a manatee swimming asking the coast though! So cool! Highly recommend! Just one FYI, there is a $2 parking fee for this state park.

It is a small state park but great for a romantic setting hardly anyone around parking lot has no more than 20 spaces very secluded , short walk to beach also parking works on a honor system good spot if you want privacy period also has a grill, 🐶 are allowed on on the pavilion

Great, peaceful beach, that isn't crowded! Pretty shells. No admission fee, just $2.00 for parking. Lots of waves, water very rough & choppy, not sure if it's always like that. The only insects that bit me were ants, in the parking lot, no mosquitoes or midges. I went in early February. Please do not spread poison all over the ground to kill ants...I'm just saying, there were no mosquitoes or midges which was very cool! I'll take ants over either one of them any day!

Wow. What an amazing State Park if you wish to visit the beach. You pay $2 for parking
And have access to the beach, washrooms and change rooms. The beach was amazingly clean and well maintained. There was plenty of room on the beach to spread your stuff out and enjoy the sun. Water was calm and warm for this time of year.
We were lucky enough to be on the beach when this group appears. They are releasing a sea turtle from the Florida Wildlife Conservation!! It was pretty cool!

Had a fun time at Avalon State Park Beach, I felt safe there and basically I had the whole Beach to myself oh, it's an interesting Beach where it was used as a training ground for Frogman in 1943 so you got to be careful of water hazards cement and steel if you're a surfer or diver other than that it's a fun and beautiful

Clean beach. Good facilities. $2 parking on the honor/envelope system. Fine crushed shell above the tide line with soft sand below and in the water. The sand does get hot.

Enjoy layed back and easy to get to beach. Parking is 2 dollars. State parks are the best. Changing room and bathroom, outside shower to insert off.

Excellent and usually uncrowded beach. If the surf at the inlet is good it will be good here too and much less competition for the waves.
No lifeguards but showers and restrooms. $2/car. Great deal.

This is a nice park. We enjoyed walking on the beach. It wasn't too crowded with people, at least when we visited on a cool day in January!
