Acecare Dental & Orthodontics Winter Park

This is probably going to be a really long review, but it's worth every word.

I've been a patient of Dr. Chos for a little under 2 years now, and I am so grateful for him and his team. I discovered his practice after chipping my tooth on a Friday night. I was absolutely horrified at the thought of going back to work the following Monday with a chipped tooth. Luckily, the one dentist that was open on Saturdays was also in network with my insurance. I called first thing that morning and they squeezed me in for an emergency appointment. Not only did he fix my tooth in less than an hour, but he also did a dental cleaning. Mind you, I hadn't been to the dentist since I was a child due to insurance issues and was TERRIFIED. But he never made me feel judged and simply cleaned me and made me feel confident again. He told me that I had some work needing to be done, but that he would help me.

14 years ago, I sustained significant trauma to my face and jaw (broke a lot of bones which snapped my jaw, and pushed my teeth together). Unbeknownst to me, the trauma actually led to the gradual death of my two front teeth. Dr. Cho was able to save them both by doing a root canal.

This past Saturday (2 days ago) he also removed my wisdom teeth. He was super efficient, made sure I felt nothing, and even called twice to check on me (once at the end of the day of the procedure and then first thing this morning). I'm so incredibly blessed to have found this dentist. Thank you Dr. Cho!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Cho for over 8 years and my 17 yr old daughter has been for over 7 years. He is by far the kindest, most gentile & caring dentist I’ve ever been lucky enough to find! I’ve had fillings, cleanings, cosmetic touch-ups and most recently, dental implants. He has done a phenomenal job on everything! I also want to give a shout out to his awesome staff!! They are all so great, were there the 1st time I went and are still with him - that speaks volumes about the kind of person (and dentist) Dr. Cho is.
I have also referred countless friends (and anyone who asked me if I know a good dentist). Everyone I’ve sent to him loves him & his staff. So many of them have made him their family dentist, having him treat their kids and spouses, from braces, teeth whitening, cleanings, fillings, root canals, etc. I CAN’T say enough about how amazing Dr. Cho and his staff are. They’re the BEST!!!

I have never enjoyed going to the dentist but Dr. Cho and his staff make it very easy and painless. Dr. Cho is hands down the most skilled dentist that I have ever been to. He and his staff have always been very kind, efficient, curteous, and extremely responsive. His rates are very reasonable as well. I could not recommend a dentist with any higher praise than Dr. Cho.

I'm about as holistic as they come. I won't have a procedure or anything done to my teeth or body unless I feel it is truly needed (I'm the natural child birth kind). When I was a teenager my mom had all the dental care I needed done and my dentist did not recommend I have my wisdom teeth removed, well they were coming in full force a few months ago and I realized it was going to be a big issue if I didn't have something done. I did lots of reading and research and weighed my options before searching for a new dentist (we are newer to the area). Dr Cho got amazing reviews particularly in the "wisdom teeth" category so I decided to make an appointment. It was a Saturday morning when I called. I was uncomfortable but not sure it was an emergency. They didn't have any openings until Monday, however they called mid-day to let me know something opened up at the Winter Park office, so I went. I was pleasantly surprised throughout my visit. Everyone was extremely nice and non judgmental of my holistic ways. Dr. Cho was nice and honest and to the point with me about what needed to be done. The office was clean and inviting as well. I wanted time to think about getting my wisdom teeth removed so I waited a month since it was not an emergency. Well, it quickly became something that needed attention right away when I could no longer open my mouth to eat from pain and the fact that my wisdom teeth started growing into my gums and cheek. I called right away and they got me in as quickly as possible. Dr. Cho was awesome. We decided it wasn't needed for me to go under since I have a high pain tolerance and just opted for numbing. He was extremely efficient and reassured me even though I was very uncomfortable being that numb that it was all normal and I was doing great. When it was time to remove the wisdom teeth it took no time at all. I didn't feel a thing and after, I was in very little pain. He and his staff told me all the things I needed to do or avoid doing and he was even non-judging when I informed him I probably would not take antibiotic unless needed (he still prescribed it and I still took the prescription with me incase I did need it). I did not get dry sockets and my mouth has healed beautifully. I will not be afraid to get any procedures done with him in the future and would highly recommend him to anyone in the Oviedo/Winter Park area. In fact, he's worth driving from the greater Orlando area for.

I’ve been going to Acecare Dental for a bout 1.5 years now and it’s been great. Dr.Cho was able to get my Invisalign back on track from a previous orthodontist after I moved. Some of my teeth were a bit stubborn and not moving and he modified my treatment to make sure they caught up to the others and ordered some remedial trays to get it to where I want it to be. So far I’m really happy with the results. I’ve also done wisdom tooth surgery with them at the Oviedo office and they took great care of me. I healed up very well and had no unexpected issues and Dr. Cho checked in a few days later to make sure I was ok, which I really appreciated. Occasionally there’s a bit of a wait on certain days, but they usually get you in and out pretty quick. They’ll be my oral care go to as long as I’m in the area, would definitely recommend.

Dr. Cho and his staff are great! I came in with a very swollen face due to a wisdom tooth, almost in fear of having to make a trip to the ER. Dr. Cho was very knowledgeable and helpful. They worked with my busy schedule to get me in ASAP for the extraction to be done. The procedure was done efficiently. I healed quickly after my procedure and they did a wonderful job explaining the after care instructions to me. I will continue to go to AceCare Dental for all of my dental needs. They are fantastic!

I have been putting off having my wisdom teeth removed. Dr. Cho got the job done with little pain and maximum comfort. Very pleased that he's our dentist! I'm shocked to say that I'm well rested and moving around than 24 hrs later

Let me just start by saying you will not find a better dentist! Dr. Cho is the most patient and easy provider I have ever taken my daughter to. She is 9 years old a has an awful fear from a prior dentist. He has been unbelievable with her. I cannot thank them enough. I also have my orthodontic work done here as well.

I had neglected my teeth for quite a while. There were different reasons for that but Dr. Cho was not judge mental. When I visited him for the first time, I told him that I wanted to be able to smile again with my teeth showing. Well Dr. Cho did such a wonderful job, he is the finest Dentist that I have ever been too. My teeth are so beautiful now and I am so Thank-full to Dr. Cho and his staff. God Bless them. If you need a Dentist go to him I had no pain!!!

I finally got braces as an adult. So far I am super happy with my results. I have been going to this dentist for over a year. The staff friendly and the doctor is very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr.Cho’s for years. I love the convenience of their Winter Park location. Suzie and the rest of the staff are always very warm, welcoming, and helpful. Cleanings are always quick and painless.

Dr. Cho was great and those assisting wonderful too. Highly recommended!

Left Richmond, Va &. had the best dentist in the world....been through 7 dentists in Orlando area before finding Dr. Cho...excellent in every category

The staff is very nice. The dentist is VERY fast and efficient. Overall great experience and I will be back every year now.
