This office is great considering only having really one case worker there. She does a great job. Hope people realize all they have to do running front desk, answering calls and checking msg. Doing the best they can! Keep up the good work..Thx

The lady I spoke with on the phone this morning was VERY nice and helpful and very concerned with me having HORRIBLE customer service at the Forsyth County location. I wish I would have gotten her name to give her the credit, but she is able to help me with my issues out of their office in Dawson County. MUCH APPRECIATION!

The lady at the front was super helpful to try to figure out an issue I was having with peachcare for kids.
Best experience I've had dealing with govt.

I am over a nonprofit and many of my clients use this office and they are always kind and do their best to help.

They literally never answer the phone or call you back when you leave a voicemail. Can’t get in touch with any office staff, nor my caseworker. Caseworkers voicemail box is always full so I’ve never been able to leave her a message. It’s been almost two months now since I applied for temporary benefits and I have heard NOTHING! DO BETTER!!

closed on Fridays. lumpkin County is also closed on Fridays. can't use gateway to apply for benifits either.

If you need help don,t go here! I think it's a ghost office because the poor guy at the desk seems to be all alone.

Too many people are getting EBT and don't need it!! People who really need it get no help!! They are rejected for a couple of $ over?? Is there an inside job going on?? Second of all, NOBODY ever picks up the phone and boxes are always FULL?? Where are you guys when I need you? No help available at all!!!!! And u people need to check someapplicants way better!! Most of these people never work and eat better than we do?? Have them find a job!! Please check everybody better!! Lots of fraud going on!! With these prices today.. who can afford to live nowadays!? I can't reach anybody in any of the offices!!

This is absolutely ridiculous you can’t get through to anyone . I’ve called the 800 number and that system is an absolute joke and impossible to get through to anyone . Case workers don’t answer the phone EVER. The office number picks up either and mailboxes are always full. I’ve called over 20 times trying to get through and no one answers . What a joke

Well, I have been trying to get someone, ANYONE, to answer the phone at this office for over a month. I have left numerous voicemails in the mailbox because they tell you that someone will call you back within 24 hours - with no call back. Now the mailbox is FULL and cannot leave a message. It is impossible to get someone on the phone here which means that I will have to actually take some time off work to make my way there during business hours just to get a piece of paper from them. It's frustrating because some of us just don't have the flexibility to run over to the office when we need a small thing like a denial letter. Typical government office.

You cant get a case worker on the phone at any location. its not just in Dawson county Ga. I live in Camden County and its the same way. The Gateway website is not much help either. The Case workers do not reply even if you leave a message. I have been waiting on a call know for over 3 months and I call at least every other day.

My daughter is 7 months pregnant. Still trying to get her insured for months now. I'm a single mom raising 3 kids and I'm a grandma too be. I applied for food stamps and insurance and now behind in rent because my kids need food and my daughter's medical bills aren't cheap.

Turn my review in before the dur date got told I didn't turn my information in so I did it again and they turned off my FS reapplied online went in see what was taking do long just to be told to fill out a paper application lord

This place is absolutely awful to have to deal with. They hardly ever pick up the phone when you try to call and the past few times I’ve called their number hasn’t been in service.

I finally got in touch with an employee to check the status of my application. They never received it! This is the second time this has happened to me.

No one answers the phone. Can't even get the case worker on her phone. And the office phone is full so can't even get to a person.This is no way to run a business. This has been going on for over a month. MC

The Defacs case workers are incompetent. They do not do their jobs. They are too lazy to get out and investigate a case to find out the truth. They ruin lives and even the ones they are supposed to be protecting.

They are about numbers! The old way may not have been perfect, but we had one on one contact with clients! Not this silly system they have now!

Can never get anyone to answer the phone, and can never get in touch with my case worker, and my food stamps are always getting cancelled due to her not doing her job property.

Will not answer the phone 😠 what are we paying these ladies?
