Dawsonville Pool Room

We have always wanted to come here and finally made it to Dawsonville. This place was amazing! We had the Bully Burger Combo for 8.75. The burger was delicious, you could tell it was fresh. A huge order of fries, so many We couldn't eat them all. Everyone was super friendly. We will be back as soon as possible!

I haven't been there to eat in years because of working too far away. But having the day off, I made a special effort to go for lunch. I had my usual cheeseburger with slaw, onions, ketchup and mustard. An order of fresh-cut fries and a sweet tea. It was the best meal just like it was back when ate them for lunch at least once a week. Thanks for keeping your food so yummy!

Great food stop with lots of racing history. It's where the locals stop for lunch.

Totally the spot light of our day. Seeing all the memorabilia they have and the owners/staff were so kind to us. My Philly cheese steak was great and the friends we were with said their food was great. We went their because of the "Elliott's" but would go again because of the people and food!

Absolutely believe the hype to this place. The bully burger didn't disappoint. Super friendly staff, great food and who doesn't love the Nascar atmosphere. Just have to visit on race day to hear the siren sound for an Elliott win. #Di9

This place was cool! Very Nostalgic. Looks a bit run down but reminds me of the Georgia I grew up in as a kid. Food was okay for the price point. Girls working there were very polite and friendly. Would definitely go back, worth the try if you're in the area.

Had a burger an it's was a good ole fashion burger. Tasted great. If it wasn't such a long drive for us I'd go back, an more than once. Lot of neat NASCAR stuff inside an the people that work there are great.

If you love NASCAR and the Elliotts,this place is for you!

Best burger around! The hand cut fries were perfect and cooked just like they are suppose to be. It’s annoying to read some of these reviews saying the fries weren’t cooked just because they are use to horrible fast food fries and never had fresh cut fries before.

The “Bully burger” was delicious. The history drew us in, the highlight was walking in and seeing Bill Elliott eating lunch there. Gotta be 5 stars for the experience!

This place is iconic and a must visit for race fans.
The regulars are friendly, server (very cute) welcomed us and spent time to tell us about the history.
I have had many but their Bully burger and hand cut fries are the best!

Love the Dawsonville Pool Room. I have visited since I was a small kid. The hotdogs are great and the so are the burgers. It just simple nostalgia for me.
If your a Nascar fan and know the Elliott family in racing this is a must. I have personally have been able to meet bill and chase at the historical Dawsonville hot spot!

Not a lot of places left like this. Classic “diner” burger joint. Great food. Amazing old ‘50s atmosphere- and yes, you can play pool.

I came there when I came down from Wisconsin to visit my dad. I loved the atmosphere, the burgers were very good, fresh not frozen patties, and just in general the people were very nice and welcoming. The kids were playin on the pool table having an awesome time! Very family friendly and a must visit when you come down to Dawsonville. And also, you gotta go to the racing hall of fame! Great way to spend an afternoon seeing parts of the city!

We just had to stop by this historical restaurant here in Dawsonville Georgia. The hot wings were so big.

Special THANKS to Kim for recognizing a #1 Bill Elliott & Chase Elliott fan. We stopped by after a detour for MVA on 85N, business closed but Kim saw me taking pictures of my husband, Duane out front. Kim unlocked the door and allowed Duane to come inside, look around and take pictures. My 62 year old husband is happier than a kid in a candy store. Kim, words do not accurately describe our gratitude for your kindness. Thanks too for allowing us to further commemorate the impromptu detour with a Dawsonville Pool Room t-shirt.
