Wonderful location tucked amongst the many beautiful Americus antebellum homes. Walking distance to dinner - a plus after a long day seated in both car and airplane! Susan's breakfast was both impeccably served and delightful to eat. We left with two extra chocolate chip pecan scones...what else could one want?! Be sure to walk theit backyard gardens, and if you have the opportunity consider the bedroom with a balcony overlooking the gardens. It's extra tranquil!

Hi guys,

Believe it or not, I still have 2 more muffins to eat!!! Breakfast was an event itself every morning with such fantastic discussions.

That should about summarize our stay. It couldn’t have been better.

Sometimes, especially with my background in hospitality, I take a facility for granted if it has a bed, is fairly clean, and the staff is competent. I’m sure you understand.

Even I still catch myself thinking about our time at the Americus Garden Inn with a smile on my face. Wendy, Al, and Gayle are all still openly talking about how awesome Susan’s stories were, Kim’s reception almost all the time when we came back to the hotel, and the historical home itself. His dining suggestions were perfect. We’re just lucky we followed them!

Especially helpful with all of your suggestions for places to visit and eat while in town. ALL suggestions were absolutely on point!

Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Truly an Amazing stay! Kim and Susan were the perfect hosts. The food was Devine and I requested her special must know recipes. It truly was a welcoming experience. We enjoyed conversation with them and made us want to return . They truly have the hospitality! The charming home with most amazing hosts. Very informative and truly love their town in which made us love it also! Must visit! Very classy hosts with very classy Southern hospitality!

Simply an amazing stay! I spent the evening with my parents who were visiting from Florida. Kim and Susan were the prefect hosts and they are so helpful to give us recommendations on the local restaurants and attractions. We choose to have our dinner at Rosemary & Thyme, we had a wonderful relaxing evening as our pre Thanksgiving festivities

Our evening was topped off with admiring the historic home of Susan and Kim’s while sipping our evening wine in the dinning room. We had some tea too in our room. Our room was super spacious and quiet. We stayed in the Magnolia Room. The bed and the sheets were very comfortable.

Susan made us an amazing breakfast! So filling! But so worth it! And the coffee was excellent! We hope to come back again and tour more of the local attractions!

And as Kim recommended the Little Drummer Boy Museum at Andersonville is a first stop before heading to the historic site

I planned an overnight getaway to celebrate my husband's birthday. I chose Americus because of a local train excursion. I had looked specifically for a bed and breakfast for accommodations for our trip. I read all the reviews and had to give Americus Garden Inn a try. I must say the reviews are not inflated and this BnB is truly worthy of all of the 5 stars it has earned. Kim and Susan are lovely and very helpful with local recommendations. Our room was large and comfortable. The sheets on our bed deserve 5 stars on their own. The location is central and an easy walk to many local restaurants. The breakfast was fabulous. Susan puts an extra effort into your food and not only is it extremely tasty but it is beautifully presented on your plate. She also went to the extra effort of putting up birthday decorations. I swear it felt like we were visiting family.

You will not be disappointed in choosing Americus Garden Inn. Oh, and make sure you take time to stroll through the gardens.

The owners of Americus Garden Inn are super serious about what they do. Very friendly service! Breakfast was AMAZING! This is a great town to visit and this is a great place to stay. The room was HUGE. We stayed in the Scarlett Suite and were amazed by how spacious it was. We had a small tube TV in the room with a VCR but downstairs the owners had an incredible selection of VHS tapes. It was really neat. I would highly recommend staying here.

Everyone....this bed and breakfast is so great! Susan and Kim are FANTASTIC people and made us feel right at home! Hotels are cool and all, but nothing beats a warm welcome that makes you feel like you're basically in a second home! I came with my mom for her hair specialist all the way from Savannah and we had an AMAZING TIME! Clean rooms, home-cooked breakfast, and friendly smiles/conversation. I will definitely be back with friends.

When I booked the stay for my husband & I, I wasn’t sure what to expect because we’ve never stayed at a B&B before. Susan called shortly after to learn more about each other & what our plans were the visit. I’m a bit of an introvert but the conversation felt like chatting with an old friend. Our conversation really put me at ease.
Their house is simply gorgeous. The room, clean, comfortable & considerate. The breakfast was a treat. You couldn’t find better at 5 star restaurant. They even made a delicious lactose free version for my husband.
You really get the impression that Susan and Kim have put a lot of thought into how to make a persons stay as enjoyable as possible. Talking with them felt natural. They’re caring, fun & interesting - great hosts. We’re looking forward to booking our next stay!

We had a wonderful stay! We were in town for my graduation. The location was just a few minutes drive from GSW University. The husband and wife owners, Kim and Susan, are SO nice. Kim gave us a tour and told us about the history of the house. Susan catered the breakfast to my gluten free needs and it was WONDERFUL!! The historic charm was exactly what I love. We highly recommend this B & B and hope to come back again!!

We absolutely loved our stay! Kim and Susan are amazing hosts, and we really felt more like family than just guests. Kim gave us the full tour and history of the house. He’s a wonderful conversationalist and really makes sure you have everything you need and answers all your questions! All local food recommendations were great. The Scarlett room is lovely and has a very large tub to relax in. If you like cats there are a couple of them on the property and Susan can introduce you. Susan’s breakfast absolutely lived up to the hype, everyone raves about the food and it was wonderful. All in all we really enjoyed the stay and look forward to coming back again sometime when we are in the area. This is exactly what we needed for a nice relaxing get-away!

For the review left regarding the condition of the house… the house was built in the mid 1800s and is in extraordinary condition. Any historic home like this is going to need TLC and none of the cosmetic or exterior renovations either affected or dismayed us. Likely it wasn’t worked on when guests are present to make sure they aren’t disturbed, and this is a good thing but probably also means renovations aren’t quick. The property is gorgeous and very well cared for and it shows. The interior is gorgeous and cozy.

Our stay at Americus was our first B&B experience and it was great! We booked the Jacuzzi Suite and it was very enjoyable and relaxing. Susan is very detailed on cleanliness and I'm big on cleanliness so I appreciated that. The sheets on the bed are wonderful nice and soft. Susan also caters to your breakfast needs which made breakfast enjoyable and special. Susan is a kind hearted person and very hospitable! Her and her husband work hard to maintain their wonderful B&B home. You will definitely enjoy the experience if you stay at Americus B&B. 😊

From the moment of our arrival to the minute that we left, we could not have asked for a better experience. Kim and Susan are the best hosts ever!! The attention to detail goes unmatched with anything I ever experienced. This was our first trip to a B&B, and we were there to celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary (also this trip was a surprise to me from my wife). Kim greeted me by name as soon as I stepped out of the car...which was an awesome touch. We also had a tour of the house as well being told the historical aspects, which was quite interesting. Our room was decorated for the occasion, which was a really nice touch. The breakfast was amazing. I must note that it was catered to our likes and allergies (as I have a few). The room was comfortable and he overall experience was top notch. I am looking forward to coming back soon. Any other B&B will have to meet to bar that was set by the Americus Garden Inn. Thank you Kim and Susan for an awesome experience!!

This 1847 mansion and grounds show the results of the hard work the owner-hosts (Kim & Susan) pour out to make the restored mansion clean, welcoming and authentic. Our room was comfy & quiet and the linens were such quality! Then there is breakfast! Oh my! This is no continental fare! Susan’s delightful 4 course gourmet breakfast was so very yummy, tailored to our tastes by a call to us before our arrival! Susan & Kim are more than willing to share the history of the home and the area of Americus. It felt like a step back in time to walk around the beautiful grounds and the public areas of the inside. Our stay was truly memorable, comfortable, enjoyable & beckons our return!

Susan and Kim are wonderful hosts. The house is beautiful, in a quiet neighborhood, and the beautiful rooms are very roomy, nicely furnished and comfortable. Also the dining area is well stocked, coffee, drinks and snacks available 24/7. There’s a large comfortable living room, and a nice sitting area upstairs. The staircase is wide and easy to navigate due to not being very steep and a platform part of the way up. Best of all the owners, Susan and Kim are amazing hosts. Very helpful and friendly. Breakfast each morning, included fruit and muffins, different each morning, along with an amazingly delicious main course. Everything was amazing! This was our second stay and if ever back this way, this is tops on the list.

We had an amazing stay at Americus Garden Inn Bed and Breakast. Kim and Susan are the nicest and most catering hostesses anyone could ask for. Our room was exceptionally clean and breakfast was planned to our liking, beautifully presented as well as delicious. The dining room was stocked daily with snacks, drinks and ice. Me and husband are not big talkers, but Kim and Susan make you feel like family and we throughly enjoyed our daily conversations. I'm looking forward to my next visit!

Wonderful stay!! Susan and Kim went out of they way to make us feel like we were home and help us celebrate our anniversary. The accommodations were perfect (the bed comfy, the sitting area perfect for relaxing). Breakfast was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! Each morning Susan and Kim provided culinary delights that made for a great start to our day. They also provided insights to events and things to do as well as places to eat. We can't wait to return!

Michelle and I ALWAYS stay here.

The owners are most gracious and accommodating, and attentive. UNDERSTATEMENT!!!

The rooms are welcoming; the 3-course breakfast is BEYOND 5-stars; delicious and beautiful presentation.

The quality of the sheets and pillows are magnificent. We, actually slept past the breakfast hour; however, they still served us.

AWESOME ESCAPE!!!!!!

Treat yourself!!!!

ENJOY!!!!

Kim and Susan have a wonderful place! I felt well taken care of and my stay was very enjoyable. The room was nice and cleaned daily! I met some other wonder guests during my stay during the breakfast (which is cooked fresh and delicious!). It was quiet, close to the hospital, and I recommend anyone looking for an authentic bed and breakfast experience to stay at this bed and breakfast! You will not regret it!

The best Bed & Breakfast experience I ever had. The house is beautifully located, very quiet, and full of history (which you can hear all about after checking in if you want to). There are little touches in every corner that make your stay really special. And the attention to detail by Susan and Kim is outstanding. They really go above and beyond. You will get a comfortable stay and a decent breakfast in many places. But this one is different. The breakfast is a feast. And they don't only give you recommendations on what to see or where to eat, no, they will want to get to know you, so they can fine tune their attention exactly to your liking. They will respect your privacy if desired, or they will engage in a deep conversation about pretty much anything with you, not shying away from difficult topics. You come as a guest and you leave as a friend.
