La Frontera Mexican Restaurant

They need more people to try their new business. I can't taste due to long-term covid from 2022. But their customer service is way superb. My mistake gets corrected. Their mistake gets corrected. Whose ever wrong if it was a misunderstanding, it gets fixed. Not like other places where they are not attentive to customers. Kinda wish they would increase their prices. Doesn’t seem fair. This review is for the La Frontera Mexican restaurant in Reidsville, Georgia. It has been open for roughly a month and this was my first visit to the restaurant. Overall the food was good, the pricing was very fair especially considering the amount of food given. I ordered the fajita rice with the meat mix which includes chicken and steak and has cheese dip sauce poured on top and it was very good. I have had better at other Mexican restaurants, but this one was definitely edible and I enjoyed it. If I could do any kind of recommendations on improving it would be not to overcook the meat as it was a little on the hard side. They were very nice and we were the only people there when we arrived and they gave us a small cheese dip on the house which I really appreciated as well as let us try some stewed pork in a interesting sauce that had a good flavor. I'm not sure what kind of sauce it was, but it looks like a mole, but it was not a mole. The sodas were also good and had a good balance of carbonation and syrup. The salsa had a good flavor however the chips seemed a little bit old like they had sat a little while. They were edible though, but could tell they were not the freshest. My only other suggestions to help make this restaurant even better would be to change the decor and play music to enhance the Mexican restaurant experience. I didn't have an issue with the music as country music was playing, but country music at a Mexican restaurant seemed a little weird. As for the decor, I recommend taking down all of the things hanging around the wall and ceiling that are from the movie Coco and put in some more traditional Mexican or Latin artwork. I do recommend the restaurant and overall got a good value for lunch. They also have homemade juices that most likely are really good, but on this visit I did not try. I love pineapple juice and they had some there, but I was in the mood for a soda so that's what I went for on this visit.

The place was mic and clean. The service was great. Lovely family. The food was plenty and good. They need to raise their prices a bit. If they wait too long, people might complain. Overall, good.
