Phoebe Sumter Medical Center

I had a medical problem & my local Dr could not see me. I had no choice but Sumter Phoebe.
This Hospital is just awesome. Very clean, everyone is so friendly & helpful. My nurses were Morgan & I think Olivia' very nice & professional. I was even impressed with the Dr on duty& the CT Tech. Even the janitor was super nice
This Hospital & the staff ARE #1. Thank you for the great care

It's a busy facility but really worth the wait at times you've able to get in and out quickly depending on your reason for your visit, there's well trained physicians as well as nurses who does their jobs professionally with respect and concern for the patient, and they're always on time but not perfect but well trained and does a great job.

Hello my wife wasn’t feeling well today. She works in Cordele ga and we live in leesburg . She made it home and we went the convenient care in leesburg . They done some test and recommended we go to the emergency room . So went decided to go to phoebe in Americus ga . Once there we had to wait a little bit before we could get in the back once in the back the service awesome Mrs joe bell was awesome the everyone was as well . Thanks for the great service phoebe Americus. We really appreciate you all . Thanks for taking care of my wife .

Can't speak for the rest of the hospital, but I had my gall bladder taken out one week ago at Phoebe Sumter. Dr. Sean Sheff and his entire staff in OPSU were nothing short of amazing!! My RN, Mrs. Lisa, was an angel to me and made sure my entire stay was pleasant. Every person I have encountered there from pre-op on has been nothing but pleasant. Thanks OPSU for making my surgery an easy time!

I had my mom taken to the hospital on the advice of her doctor. She went by EMS I wasn't able to go with her. Every one was amazing I called about every hour and everyone was very helpful and friendly. Big difference from the hospitals in the bigger cities that I am used to.

I went in on a Saturday with severe abdominal pain caused by gallstones. My surgeon knew I was coming in and she already had a room ready for me. Dr. Tott and her surgical team took great care of me! They removed my gallbladder and kept me comfortable. Prior to and after surgery the nurses on the 4th floor were all very kind and knowledgeable! I would recommend this hospital to anyone I love and care for. I cannot speak for the ER bc I didn't have to go through the ER to receive care but all the staff I encountered were great!

I’ve been inpatient since Monday following surgery. I hope to go home in the next couple of days. I’ve been treated so well here by every single staff member I’ve seen. I’d have to say that Phoebe Sumter is the jewel of South Georgia! I couldn’t ask for more skilled doctors, RNs, techs, Anesthesiologist, and even the sweet lady that cleans the room. I was in another hospital twice this year due to an ongoing health issue. It was sub par compared to Phoebe Sumter. So, thank you all for taking such great care of me! ❤

Wow! God is good.
Today my wife had her gal bladder removed in the surgery center at Phoebe Sumter. We arrived prior to the scheduled appointment to to check in. From the beautiful grounds and elegant styled entrance to the amazing staff. We were treated like special VIP guest at a resort. The registration process was simplified by an angel named Laura Cheek. Laura our nurse , made our visit comfortable and relaxed. She was calm and informative, she was gentle and sympathetic. As was the rest of the surgery team and nursing staff. From the time my wife went back to surgery, I recieved a call that she was going under , then another call that surgery went well and she was in recovery. Dr. Douglas Joyner informed me how the surgery went and how to care for my wife. LAURA CHEEK, made every effort to make sure we were comfortable and informed as well.

Very outstanding !!! Was very impressed with the lady that did my testing very nice and patients with everyone wished they were more like her in this would. A lot of workers acts like they don’t care how they treat you by the way the lady’s name is Jodi.

I had fractured my hand, and a local clinic had ordered some X Rays. I was in and out in half an hour. The staff was very helpful even though I was having problems with my insurance card, and later, when the clinic that had ordered the X rays was being uncooperative, someone in radiology actually called and got them back on track. I couldn't have asked for more professional, helpful staff.

Back side for Covid19 vaccine. This place is super amazing. You don’t have to touch anything!

Had a mammogram at 7:30 & was in & out within 40 minutes. Very efficient & friendly. Beautiful facility inside & out. Landscaping is beautiful!

I love it there they was nice to me and they take good care of me and I do miss them when I am in Glen Eagle Healthcare and Rehab.

I had to go to the ER last week. The ER staff was wonderful. They saw me quickly and had me feeling better within minutes. Great service, friendly staff.

I have had several ER visits and more recently a surgery. They are always informative, quick and comforting.

Fantastic place. The nurses and staff are so friendly and the facility is state of the art.

I love the labor and delivery staff so nice and sweet. And made sure I was good at all times.
