This Walgreens location has a horrible reputation. The pharmacy especially. Knowing this, I avoid them like the plague. So when my son was very ill and they were the only place in town with the medicine he needed, I was not looking forward to the trip. I assume they had it because I'm not the only one to avoid them. I spoke to the pharmacy after being disconnected multiple times, who gave me the wrong information, I then asked to speak to the manager. She assured me she would handle it and it would be ready so we headed out. I should mention I had the sick kid and no car as mine was broken down. We arrived, 2 hours after she said to come, to find no medicine. I huffed off and asked to speak to the same manager (the store manager). She went to speak to them and discovered that they could not yet transfer the script bevabec my regular pharmacy was closed for lunch by this time. I was not happy. She remained unflustered and gave myself and my children a ride home and then delivered the med to us once it was ready. She more than made up for the mistake(s) and assured me she had just taken over and was working the kinks out. I did notice that the rest of the staff was now very friendly, when in the past they just seemed to "be there". I can't remember her name, but she's the store manager and I believe her when she says she's making improvements. I look forward to seeing that in the future.

I had to drive 18.5 miles to Walgreens in Morgan City, Louisiana from the Walgreens in Franklin, Louisiana; bc the Manager in Franklin claimed he could not assist me. When I arrived Rita immediately began working on the problem. She requested Jasmine come to help me. Within 4 minutes it was done. They were professional and patient. It was worth the ride.

THEIR STAFF IS GREAT AND FRIENDLY,THE PHARMACY HAS MRS.JOHNESHA THAT REALLY TAKES CARE OF YOU VERY FRIENDLY AND POLITE I THINK ALL PHARMACIES SHOULD HAVE ONE LIKE THAT THANK YOU GUYS

Well stocked location. Easy in, out and on your way again. Everything was neat, clean and well organized.

Store is kind of expensive for having a Walmart not 2 mins away. The shelves were very empty as well which was kind of disappointing.

You can only get 20.00 cash back per transaction

I spent an hour on the phone just trying to see if they had my prescription in stock yet. I waited patiently behind 3 callers which took around 20 minutes. A girl in the pharmacy answered the phone just to put me back on hold without discussing anything with me. I continued waiting and then the phone disconnected. I called back and was put to the back of the line once again. I waited and finally spoke to a different girl. She put me on hold to check the shelf. Guess what? Disconnected AGAIN. She was nice enough to call me back on my cell while I was on hold again(on the land line). She informed me that they don't have the medicine, so this was all for nothing. Typically a good store to go to but the pharmacy needs help with answering the phones, apparently. If you don't like dealing with robots answering the phone, deal with a smaller company. Walgreens and Walmart are too big for their own good.

I SHOULD GIVE IT NO STARS BECAUSE MY FRIENDS AND I WERE SMELLING SOME HAIR PRODUCTS BECAUSE YOU WOULD WANT TO SPELL IT BEFORE YOU BUY INCASE IS DOESN’T SMELL GOOD AND THE LADY TOLD US WE COULDN’T SMELL PRODUCTS IN THE MEANEST WAY EVERY AND WE WHERE JUST LIKE SMELLING IF IT ACTUALLY SMELLS GOOD AND THEN SHE SAYS “SAY WHAT YOU WANT” AND SHE SAYS “ILL TAKE YOU OUTSIDE” … MEANWHILE WE WASN’T DOING ANYTHING WRONG WE WASN’T MAKING A RUCKUS OR NOTHING JUST BUYING ONE FREAKIN PICTURE!!! I DON’T EVEN KNOW HER NAME OH WELL IF YOU NOT HAPPY THEN DON’T WORK WHERE THERE IS PEOPLE IN THE AREA BC YOU HAVE TO BE HAPPY and WELCOMING!

I made an appointment for the booster this morning. Scheduled around the CONFIRMED vi email appointment time only to be told “we don’t have any available” HOW in this day and age are you able to make appointments, confirm appointments and are told upon arrival that there aren’t any available. Disappointed.

If I could give 0 stars I would....absolutely terrible customer service. They wouldn't take my FedEx package even after speaking with the manager. He said the lady made a mistake and that they do take them...went back again and this time no one would take it. I gladly went to Bayou Vista where the cashier immediately took my package, scanned it with no issues...I guess Morgan City Walgreens employees need to be trained on how to take and scan a FexEx package.

Slow, slow, slow, slow. I burned a tank of gas waiting for my meds. Switching to Walmart.

Went to fill one script and wanted to wait to pick. Was told it would be a 30 min wait in a nasty tone. They don't deserve 1 star. Worst place ever.

I dropped off my prescription inside the store because I had to pick up a few household items. The employee at the front desk informed me that it would be about 35 minutes of a wait. I decided to browse within the store for about 35 minutes. I went to check on the status of my prescription and the employee assured me that it was about to be filled soon and should be completed within the next few minutes. Next few minutes ended up being a total wait of over 1 hour and 20 minutes. I would appreciate it if the staff would be more considerate of other people's time and be honest. I would not have a problem with dropping off my prescription and returning if I knew the wait was going to be over an hour and twenty minutes. I am never setting foot inside another Walgreen's again.

Missing items on delivery. Will not order again.
