We take our Pitsky, German shepherd, and Ridgeback here and Dr. Coleman and his team are always the best. Front desk people are always nice to everyone. We previously moved from another vet to here and have nothing but positive to say about this vet clinic!

Extremely nice friendly environment.. very clean well kept facility. Could tell the animals are well cared for. I will tell everyone I know to check them out for their next pet. I know I'm absolutely in love with my blue eye RIDER baby!! Thank yall so much!! (1st pic our ride home)

There are no words to describe the loss of a companion I've had for many years. When Smith Animal Hospital says, "you are family" they really mean it! My dogs have been blessed with excellent care and when their time came the compassion from the whole staff was so very comforting. Thank you! Thank you!

The office staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome even though I didn't have an appointment for my Boston terrier. They told me the price for tests before they ran them on Tux. Dr. Smith explained everything thoroughly to me, so that I could understand. I was completely satisfied with Tux's visit and Dr. Smith's expertise.

Best vet clinic in starkville. Great staff. Dr Smith's bedside manner is legendary.

The vets and staff at this clinic went above and beyond to try to save my sweet fur-baby. The amount of care and compassion they showed really helped me make it through one of the most difficult times I’ve EVERR experienced. Thank you tremendously to the entire staff at this clinic!

They are wonderful. They assisted us for the first time 3 years ago when they were the only vet open and my cat was seizing. They were kind, considerate and helpful even though our babies were not patients before that moment. We knew we would be switching permanently. Since that moment, we have taken all of our other pets to them. And just like the first time they are beyond sweet and caring.

Great place to take your fur babies. Out of all the vet clinics I have taken my Zoey dog she has never came out wagging her tail. She does great there comes out wagging her tail and no shaking from being scared. Happy fur baby!

Best vet I've ever taken my fur babies. All three vets are incredible, patient, empathetic, and helpful. They take such wonderful care of my dogs and the staff is always friendly. Anytime I need anything from records, to medicine, to an appointment, or an emergency stop in, they always come through.

By far the BEST VET in Starkville! Don’t bother going anywhere else! Great prices, will NEVER overcharge you and are VERY up front about costs. Everyone there is super nice and you can tell they love what they do. Dr. Coleman is the best and my dog is always excited to go there. HIGHLY recommend!

I can comfortably say I love taking my dog here. I am always greeted by all the staff that see us and they are all friendly. She got spayed here and didn't have any complications throughout the process or her healing time. The vets genuinely care about your pet here I would recommend them to everyone!

I really love this vet clinic. They have great availability, are flexible and have awesome staff. I've always been able to get my pup seen within the same week. Dr. Smith is great! He's always very informative and prescribes only what's needed. He is very real about medical concerns and will tell you what not to waste your money on and gets things resolved the first go around. I really appriciate this clinic. Very cost effective too. Highly recommend!!

I was very nervous about being a first time puppy owner, but after reading all of the reviews raving on about how great Dr. Smith and his team are, I had no question who to go to! We were seen earlier than our appointment time and they made shots seem like a breeze! I’m so glad I’m apart of the Smith family, and we look forward to our next visit! Also- I still cannot get over how good the entire clinic smelled!! If I would’ve been blindfolded, I would’ve never known I was in a vet’s office!!

Hands down the BEST VET I've been too. Everyone was so kind and the service was GREAT! They sincerely care about your animal. I took my cat in for an abscess issue on her arm and they gave her exactly what she needed, and they handled her very well. The whole visit was perfectly affordable. They even sent me a sweet postcard in the mail and I put it up on my refrigerator. :) Such a considerate, honest, affordable place that DOES the job. I won't go anywhere else! If you're looking for a trustworthy Vet, look no further. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

I have been using this clinic since 2012 for my pets (cat/dog), and I have always been pleased with the services and my pets' care. The prices have risen (specifically the exam fee [$50 I believe], but I'm not sure in regards to other fees) but I still travel from Columbus because I trust the care given here. Dr. Smith and Dr. Stowers are friendly, give competent care, and don't seem to be put off by my anxieties regarding my babies 😅

Our mini-dachshund, Foxy, is 12 years old and has severe anxiety when it comes to going to the vet. She was not feeling well and we had to break down and take her in. Dr. Stowers and all the clinic staff were incredible with her. They diagnosed her quickly and prescribed the appropriate medications to help resolve her issues. She is feeling so much better and we are so thankful. Our Frenchie, Millie, visits frequently and Dr. Smith and the staff always take excellent care of her. Thank ya'll for taking great care of our pups.

They are great. I called this past Friday to set up an appointment. It was scheduled for Saturday at 11:40 a.m. I was fifteen minutes late, but they still allowed me to come in even though it was time for them to close. Not only did they stay over closing time, they even offered to help me get inside, because I had my two daughters and my pet. The treated my Fang great while we were there. They even gave my pet some treats to help calm him down. They informed me of the threats of heart worms and treatments if my pet were to get them, and also preventative measures to ensure that he is protected from heart worms. They were all very kind and polite. They even offered to help me get to my vehicle after the visit, because like I said, I had my kids with me. I think this will be my new permanent vet. You should definitely bring your pet at least once and find out for yourself how great they are.

We love this vet! Our friend initially recommended them to us, and we've brought both our dog and cat in several times now. Dr. Smith is calm and listens carefully to all our concerns, and several times has managed to save us money when he didn't think a procedure was necessary that another vet might've pushed. When we've called for unscheduled visits they always get us in right away. Not to mention the fact that he's very gentle with our pets, and is conscientious about causing them the least amount of stress possible.

Dr. Smith has been so incredibly good with our pups. He has been the most knowledgeable and caring vet in Starkville for years. Now, Dr. Stowers has joined him and is equally as kind & caring. Great staff, very reasonably priced and all around good people. This is who we trust with our best friends.
