Boardtown Pizza & Pints

I come here every Friday for the lunch special ($10 one topping) and the beer special ($5 32oz). Tyler and staff are always super friendly and helpful. The pizza comes out in under 20 minutes. What’s not to love?? Great local business

We attended a pizza making class here that was amazing! We learned all about the dough and how to form a perfect pizza. The owner was very informative and kind. Other than being an amazing environment, the pizza was phenomenal! The employees seemed to really enjoy their jobs, and it was an overall super fun and unique experience. I will definitely be back!

On 12/23/23 at 1 my grandfather and I got a pepperoni pie (14$) and 2 drinks (3$ each) which is 10 bucks for someone to eat a delicious new york style pie and get a larger than most soda. I mean, I don’t know what type of wizardry the chefs were doing in the back but that pepperoni pizza was crispy, steaming hot, and so good that I would likely be struck from the heavens for saying that every ingredient wasn’t fresh and/or made in-house. The service was good and the atmosphere was really welcoming. Seriously, this is THE spot if you want a good pie in Starkville.

Great food and service!
They did warn us that since they don't freeze the food it can take just a tad longer to get our meal. However, the wait was barely noticeable, and it was absolutely worth it! The food was incredible!! The staff is also some of the most genuine servers that I have ever met in any dining experience. Could not have had a better experience.

2 for 2! Both visits have been absolutely amazing. The Slap Your Momma pizza was outstanding. I look forward to eating here while visiting my bulldog.

Brussel sprouts and pizza were great! Also a good beer selection. We were passing through and glad we stopped here! The owner obviously takes a lot of pride in this place and is doing a great job!

Great pizza and salad! The draft beer selection is incredible! I really like the cocktail menu too. We sit at the bar every time and the staff is so friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend!! Locally owned, which is a huge plus to us! Thanks to Tyler and Team for great service, food, and drinks! We plan to return often.

Great vibe! Last night was my first visit, the food was great, huge beer selection. I had the classic Margarita pizza, portions are huge, and it had a great taste!
Our server, Andi was precious! She was so kind, helpful and made the evening even more enjoyable. The wallpaper in the women's bathroom is just so much fun! Can't wait to go back!!

We are new in town and decided to try this place out. What a great surprise! Ordered take out and the pizza was ready in 20min. Probably the closest you will have of a Neapolitan pizza. Our choice was a little spice for our taste, but still delicious. I think I already have my favorite pizza place in Starkville.

The breakfast pizza was amazing. Definitely some of the best pizza I have had in Starkville and clearly the pros are behind the counter. For the gyro- my girlfriend ordered a chicken gyro. Unfortunately, it was the worst we have had in our lives... Unfortunately I am not just being over the top, either. I challenge the owner to order the chicken gyro to go, taste it and then start from scratch on making it taste good. The fries where awesome. If the owner replies with how you changed it I will change my review to 5 stars. It needs some love, brother.

UPDATE- I have since been back and the menu is awesome. Come here for great pizza and beer!!

This is always one of my go to stops each and every time I am in Starkville. The food is always top notch. The service is always A+, even when it is a busy gameday weekend. You also cannot beat the draft beer selection. If you are looking for good food and drinks in the Cotton District, you need to go to Boardtown.

I had lunch there today. Great atmosphere and plenty of TV's for sports. I had the Dog Bowl Nachos for my app, and it was enough for the table and delicious. I had the Italian Stallion pizza. Wow! One of the best thin crisp pies I have ever tasted. I recommend this place to anyone who loves pizza.

Love this place. Great pizza and great selection of beer. This is our go to spot in Starkville. The staff is always kind and attentive, and the food is great. Must try if you're looking for pizza in town.

I've only been here a few times, but every time the service is outstanding and so is the food. A few months ago even there was a shortage of a lot of items on the menu, but the waiter was completely transparent and apologetic, so it didn't take away from the experience at all. I'm glad to have a place like this in Starkville; it reminds me of places I used to go in college when I lived in Atlanta. The pita mozz is a must; the feta sauce is incredible.

Huge fan of all of the food here!! I definitely recommend the Hummus or Dog Bowl Nachos as an appetizer! The pizzas are AMAZING & the dough is to die for! I've also tried the traditional gyro with french fries and both were delicious. Such a great addition to the Cotton District! I will 100% be back

EDIT: The previous review was expressing disappointment over Boardtown being closed to make more dough after the first day. Now after trying the pizza it makes sense why people ate all the dough because this place has delicious pizza and incredible dough. The toppings were very fresh and tasty and the service was very good as well. Excited to come a lot in the future and get to try all the other good stuff on the menu!

The BEST food! Everything I have ordered here has been AMAZING. Definitely recommend the hummus and pita mozz as an appetizer! The All Caps was so good as well! Best Moscow Mules in town and our server even made us a few surprise drinks to try! Tyler has done a great job with the place and it gets better every time I go!
