Mississippi Welcome Center

Very nice and clean restrooms and the 2 ladies at the welcome counter were very nice and friendly, took my 10 hour break there as I'm an over the road driver.

Me and my BFF started a road trip Nov 3, 2023 and drove through Mississippi after visiting my mom in Memphis

Elegant stylish and beautifully landscaped this is a top rest stop and State Welcome Center. Like stepping into a Southern mansion, but with lovely staff offering good advice and a cup of - free fresh brewed coffee. Oh how about the free WiFi. Nice!

Very well put together rest area. Pretty much a destination in and of itself. D.J. who was working the desk today was very informative and welcoming.
At the very least, it's worth taking a 25 minute detour for the book of all Mississippi tourist locations. You can grab random pamphlets, which are decently artistic, as fridge decorations.

My group saw a paper for Jim Henson's birthplace, and now that's where we're headed.

Very beautiful welcome center..beautiful lady was working when we stopped. I didn't get her name..but she made us feel welcome and was interested in where we was from and where we was going...not just trying to make conversation too be making conversation...she was a very beautiful soul...and very kind..

This is a clean, scenic, and security-guard-patrolled Welcome Center. There are interesting state-related displays inside. The clerk was friendly and the women's restroom was clean.

Nice and clean rest area welcome center

This welcome center was very nice. Tastefully ornate, and classically southern. I believe there are seven welcome centers like this in Ms. Almost all identical withe wrought iron decorative fencing. I heard Ms was in the process of upgrading their rest areas and welcome centers. I hope the leave these alone. They are beautiful the way they are.

Very clean restroom and very nice and helpful staff working inside. Great place to stop and stretch your legs, eat a snack you brought, or walk your fur babies! Mine enjoyed their walk around. Easy on and off from I-55. We stopped during the day, but if all those lights work outside, I can imagine it's lit up well in the evening. I believe they close the inside, and you access the restrooms between certain hours from side doors. Update: lights worked, well lit. Restrooms are in need of some TLC but still clean. I would feel safer with security at night. They have outdoor vending machines there as well.

Well staffed and very clean. Good variety from the vending machines if you're looking to grab a snack or something to drink. There's also plenty of room to walk a dog or even sit in some shade and relax for a minute.

This place was a true gem. The lady at the help desk was so personable and kind. There was so much history and beauty at this Welcome Center this is a must see.

The welcome area is well manicured and clean. There are two very friendly ambassadors in the welcome center who offer lots of area information.

This spot is darling! The decorated interior is cozy, and feels original. Beautiful antiques. Very clean, helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Stopped to use the restrooms and found they had great people working there. Lots of handouts for all of Mississippi!

The prettiest rest stop I can remember going to. Very clean. Very pretty. Well taken care of. Security. Definitely worth stopping.
