Hampton Inn Starkville

I have to give Jordan Smith at the desk big kudos! What a great customer service representative for Hilton!!
I'm a diamond member and travel all over the country for business, I love Hilton for the people they empower to take care of customers.
I was staying at the Garden Inn down the road and could not print a much needed pdf for the conference I was in town for, frantic and stressed I decided to pull into this Hampton Inn to see their business center printer was working. Jordan was so helpful and kind to a non-guest, he let me email him the pdf and printed it for me. Saving my morning! The time, care and help he provided, ensures that next time I'm in town... this is my hotel!

You won't find a nicer Hotel staff on planet earth. To a person, everyone welcomed us each morning, asked us how we were doing and took the time to chat with us. Every single person who worked there had a smile on their face. I will absolutely stay here again and again when coming in for football games. Easy drive to Davis Wade.

Location to MSU Animal Health Care allowed easy access during family emergency. The front desk got us a room quick, and as usual, it was a very clean, good breakfast and fantastic staff.

My stay at the Hampton Inn Starkville was very pleasant. The property is well kept inside and out. The staff was very friendly which is very rare for customer service anywhere these days. I liked how customers could determine if/when their room needed service. The two things I would suggest to improve the experience is for rooms to have a microwave oven and a dorm sized refrigerator. Even though there are several restaurants nearby, I would like to have been able to store/reheat leftovers in my room. They do have microwaves in the lobby and a well stocked snack bar for customers to purchase water, soda, juices, chips, cookies, nuts, and toiletries, but I try to stay at hotels that have a microwave and refrigerator in the room. Other than that, I would highly suggest this hotel.
I felt safe at this location, and the parking lot was well lit. I was pleased to see outdoor cameras monitoring the property, so I felt my vehicle was safe as well.

Great service. Staff was very friendly. The room was good. Very close to the university.

The Hampton Inn Starkville is A great place to stay. It's conveniently located to the campus as well as other businesses also the GM Jordan Smith and the entire front desk staff will make you feel welcomed. I'm an Honors Diamond member and they never forget it. They've always made my stay exceptional. The complimentary breakfast is just an added convenience to your stay. Excellent hot breakfast and coffee and juice to go with it.

The hotel room was clean, front desk was friendly and service oriented. The people servicing the breakfast area were most helpful and considerate-they let us know ahead of time when they would be closing up to make sure we had everything we wanted before they shut down. I enjoyed my stay.

We were here for orientation at MSU for my grandaughter. She & her Mom went. I (Grandma & lil'brother -4yrs stayed behind. Tay, the front desk clerk was extremely friendly to us. She let me & Lil bro. stay in the lobby, even though we had checked out. We stayed in hobby while Mom & sis were at the college..
Tay even kept her eye on Lil bro while I went to ladies room.
Tay helped me so much beyond the call of duty and this grandma is very appreciative. Thank you Tay. You were wonderful & with that beautiful smile 😍

The staff were excellent and the room was everything promised plus an excellent location next to Mississippi State University. We will definitely stay here again. Great pet policy. Wish all Hampton's and Hilton property offered the same.

By far one of the BEST experiences I've ever had at a Hampton Inn. The hotel was extremely convenient to MSU, clean and comfortable. Even better was the staff. They were so friendly, attentive and took pride in the service they provided. Would definitely stay here again!

We had the best experience here this past weekend. We came in for a wedding that was on Saturday at 3:00, we arrived at 11:00 and they let us check in early. The front desk clerk was super sweet and so very helpful, so was everyone else. We enjoyed our stay here. Will definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area! Thank you all for the help this weekend!

Great location if you are visiting Mississippi State University. Very close to great dining options. Complementary breakfast was one of the best I have had.

Let me just say, the customer service here is amazing! All of the front desk staff was so nice and helpful! We stayed the weekend for a wedding and the staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable! Very happy with this hotel choice!

The staff was excellent! Especially Moron and Elijah. Enjoyed our stay on Friday and Saturday nite for the Bama/Miss state game! Parking was a problem on Sat after game. Need more of selection on Saturdays breakfast. It was much better on Sunday! We love the Hampton Inn!

Cozy and good quality room!! The best hotel we could expect, specially because we have 3 beautiful cats and they could stay with us the whole period! Staff is also friendly, all the girls from reception, the ladies from the cleaning service and from the breakfast kitchen. We are very satisfied and happy with our accommodation during theses days.

Ms. Betty was so sweet!! She booked me a room late at night because I was locked out of my apartment, and was very kind regardless of how late it was. She gave me excellent service and I cannot thank her more! They are also pet friendly and my puppy also enjoyed her stay!

The Hampton inn in Starkville was where I stayed for an extended period over the past month. Though the property seemed a little dated and offered a smaller amount of amenities than other Hampton inns I’ve stayed in the past, the warm and welcome hospitality of the staff made it feel like home.
Each morning Marlene, who set up the breakfast, made sure that each guest was satisfied and had everything they needed to ensure a fulfilling breakfast to fuel the day.
In the afternoons, Wilma at the front desk was consistently beaming with a smile as she greeted me during my lunch break!
Throughout the stay, I needed some emergency maintenance assistance in my room and Jarrod was more than willing to lend a hand. He was so consistent, knowledgeable, and sweet. I’ll call him my “Hampton knight in shining armor”
Seriously, After an issue involving the refrigeration in my room, he even offered to buy me take-out. I could go on and on about his professional and comforting personality, but you should just stay there to find out for yourself.

If I’m sent back to Starkville for work I would definitely stay here again!

PS There are DELICIOUS WARM caramel cookies in the evenings that literally got me through my workday!

This is a nice place to stay at in Starkville, MS that's close to restaurants and MS State campus. Wilma at the front desk really does a great job everytime I have stayed here. She has one of the best personality that others should have while taking care of All guest. I'll recommend Anyone that's looking for a hotel to stay at in Starkville, MS to not overlook this clean place..
