La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Starkville at MSU

I arrived late last night and the lady working up front was so sweet and helpful. Upon checking out this morning, Tywanna was incredibly helpful and sweet! I sat here and ate breakfast and that sweet woman had a kind word and smile for everyone. If she isn’t running this place, she should be. And if she is, she needs a raise!!!!

From the time I spoke with Amy Tuck, the sales manager, about reserving a block of rooms for our Conference attendees, my experience with La Quinta Inn and Suites in Starkville has been superb in all respects! It took me several days and phone calls to research the hotels in the area, and the staff members answered all of my many questions with knowledge and unwavering cheerfulness. I'm so glad that I decided to make La Quinta our Conference hotel. Upon arrival, staff members at the desk seemed to know us by name and treated us like family. The rooms were so comfortable, immaculate, and quiet. The hot breakfast was varied and delicious. I can't praise this hotel enough for all that they did to make our stay perfect in every way!

My so is a student at MSU. He had to have an emergency appendectomy, thus the reason for my unplanned visit. I reserved a King room that morning enroute to Starkville. Along the drive I learned that he did so well, he would discharge from the hospital the same day. I called LaQuita and explained our situation. The staff not only changed me to a double room, but were so thoughtful they set us up on a first floor room close to an exit, so he could get in and out easily. Very comfortable and clean room. Safe area. Easy to get to. Affordable. Great experience, but especially that wonderful staff.

Off season, February stay during renovations. It was quiet, clean, and breakfast was plentiful. I have no complaints and look forward to staying again after the updates!

Easy to get in parking lot. Beautiful room. Air conditioning control on wall. Has shower only in room with king sized bed. No tub. Huge mirror with plenty of room for 2 in the bathroom and bedroom. Nice friendly front desk. Not crazy expensive. Breakfast 6 to 9.

This place is really nice the staff are very friendly and helpful the rooms are very clean and comfortable I would recommend it to anyone needing a place to spend the night

We arrived late and they put us in a room quickly. The lady that checked us in had to come remove a dehumidifier which concerned us but she explained why it was in the room. The room was clean and everything was in its place. Breakfast was promptly out by 6, even though it was not supposed to be out until 7. The lady working the breakfast area made us feel at home and took great care to see we had everything we needed. It was a pleasant stay.

I would stay here again
I stayed here over the busy MSU graduation weekend 2 weeks ago. I found the staff all very friendly, especially at the front desk. The room was clean, minus a few areas in the bathroom like the wall by the sink and one of the shower doors. I will say to request a top floor room as with most hotels, I could hear the people above me walking very heavy. Also, bring your own pillow if you can. Their’s are small like a throw pillow, they do put several on the bed for each person. Overall I have no problem staying here again. I have reservations for graduation for next year already.

Tijuana has been EXCEPTIONAL! We made a mistake on our reservations and she went way above and beyond to help us fix our issues. It was completely our fault and she could have ended with that but she didn't, she helped us figure out accommodations. We will continue to use this location whenever we are in the area and we will always appreciate the help we received from Tijuana!

Easily the nicest LaQuinta I've ever seen and better than most good hotels we've stayed in! Fresh cookies, kind workers, common space we could play games in with friends, and a super clean room that was quite upgraded for a basic long room. There's a restaurant basically in the parking lot and several options around close. Definitely would stay again! Prices couldn't be beat!

Where do I begin?! This place was amazing! The rooms were spacious and very clean! The entire building was nice and beautiful. The pool was warm and fun. Breakfast tasted great. I was even able to have my jack Russell stay with me! There is no pet smell at all inside the hotel! Staff was very friendly and tended to your every need. My stay here was perfect and I will definitely be coming back here!

Rooms are very clean. Beds are super comfy. Even with out of town baseball teams, softball teams and other guests the rooms were quiet. The grounds are very well kept. Pool area clean and nice. Breakfast was better than average for a continental breakfast. There was sausage, cereal, scrambled eggs to name a few. Staff was courteous, friendly and attentive to our needs. You won’t regret staying at this location.
