I can not say enough good things about Dr Van Wyk and his team. Dr Van Wyk is kind of a no nonsense guy. Which if you ask me is a great quality to have in a surgeon. His nursing staff is absolutely wonderful. They kept things light and talked with me the whole time to keep my mind off of the surgery. Pants off to pants on in less then an hour. Minimal pain the next day. Bravo to Dr Van Wyk and his team. I hope I don't have to see them again but gladly will if needed.

Dr. Van Wyk did an amazing job with my vasectomy. Everything went smooth, could tell he is experienced at his profession. The nurses and receptionist were great as well

I must admit that I was a little nervous going into this. I just had my first vasectomy. It went so well that I will definitely go back for another....but seriously. All the staff members were so professional and caring. Debra was the greatest and put me at ease right away. Not only is Dr Van Wyk a very skillful surgeon, he has a friendly and compassionate bedside manner to boot! Thank y'all at Rutherford Urology and well done!

Dr. Van Wyk has been a big help to me. I recently had to have a cystoscopy. I was very nervous about the procedure. Dr. Van Wyk and Debra made me feel very comfortable and helped me through the procedure. Dr. Van Wyk always has time to answer all of my questions. My experience with this office has been very positive.

Dr. Van Wyk has literally helped save my life. He's one of the very few urologist that is familiar with interstitial cystitis, knows how to treat it and understands what I go through. Debra is also the sweetest medical assistant you could ever hope to have. I am so lucky to have found Dr. Van Wyk and his team

I was very impressed with Dr. Rustan Van Wyk. He and his staff were all very nice. I like a doctor that is direct. Example... Here is the problem and this is how we are going to fix it. I highly recommend him and his staff for you health needs.

I'm a caregiver, and I take one of my clients here frequently. They are always courteous and friendly. Van Wyk is very thorough and professional.

Good doctor!!

Doctor does a great job but has no bedside manner. And you have to wait a very long time for an appointment that should only take 10-15 minutes. Idk if they work that slow or they over book. But something needs to happen. Older people do not like to wait that long.

If i could give a negative review I would!! First off who dosent tell a patient they are in stage 1 of kidney disease!? Thats YOUR job!!! Second his bedside manner is HORRIBLE! Never read my labs to see my protein levels kept increasing indicating Kidney Disease/damage to even tell me! My primary had to!! Wait time is ABSURD! He goes on vacation more than any person I know, front desk lady is RUDE! They charged me a co pay every single time and owe me over $200 when they knew I had met my deductible and OOP! Debbie, is nurse is the ONLY good thing about this place! STAY AWAY!!!! Ill be reporting him to the board and getting a lawyer for medical neglect!

This "doctor" is rude and unprofessional. He didn't help my husband at all. Prescribed medicine for older men with prostate problems after checking my 27yo husband's and it was completely fine, the issue is bleeding from his bladder, told him to use Vaseline on his catheter which is NOT what you use on them, it can cause infection, and sent us home. I'm convinced he found his medical license in a cracker jack box. We will never go back and I'll be sure to discourage anyone else from seeing this quack!!

I went here either 2 years ago or last year but anyways i had a bladder infection and the hospital recommended to see him. He was so rude and didn't think i had nothing really wrong with me and told me to just drink more water. His assistant was very nice.

The staff is very friendly but the doctor was not. His unprofessional attitude made me find help elsewhere. He was more concerned why I left my newly appointed urologist than my problems. My urologist left leaving me to find another. This man prescribed medicine without running any test at all. Needless to say that I had a horrible reaction to it. I was able to find another doctor. Thank God. I would recommend this practice to no one.

I have to have my paperwork sent to another doctor. I have waited a month. I call everyday for a week to see if they have sent it off. They dont seen to answer If they do they say they will re sent it .still
l have no idea if they have. Its bad enuff to have to worry about your health. Then worry about if someone has done there job or not. The doctor was great. But i think he needs to find someone to there job .

If you think a doctor office deserves to be paid $1200 an hour then this is the place for you. A 10 minute consultation costs $200+ and thats just the start of the absurd charges you'll pick up from here. Stay away if you don't like blatant thievery!
