Great quiet place for a quick walk. Parking. Picnic tables. Trash cans. Well maintained. Lots of birds. Signs of deer, coyote, raccoons, and opossums. 2.6 miles. Mild inclines.

Nice, quiet, fairly easy, well maintained trail in the foothills. There are several moderately steep hills (for those who struggle with inclines). There are no restrooms. No motorized vehicles or equestrian allowed on trail. There are picnic tables available and and there are benches placed periodically along the trail. The GPS took us straight there. You end up at a little church. Turn right and follow the gravel road to get to the entrance of the trail.

Really nice loop hike, we took the road in and the trail back.
GPS may try to send you in circles to get there.
Parking is down a dirt road on right behind a church out building.

Great 3 mile hike rated easy but has some hills for a nice little workout. Well maintained. Didn't see any critters but saw tons of paw prints. Bring a walking stick and be aware of what to do if you encounter a bear as they are in the area.

We hiked the trail to Alexander's Ford early one Sunday morning, after a heavy rain the night before. There were muddy spots in the trail with perfectly preserved fox and deer prints, and no human footprints. Saw a beautiful stand of rattlesnake plantain. A very quiet and lovely morning.

Stunning nature walk. I've been in the fall, and just went this spring with my 1 yr old son. He absolutely loved it!

If you traverse to the end you can get down to the river. It's shallow (unless it's rained), and you can walk it for a short ways and gave a great view up and down the river.

Also note: Fishing this section of the river is great.

Great trail nice and wide. Generally smooth slopes with a few steeper spots by the river. Nice walk. Park entrance is by Grays Church. Our gps ran us all over.
