I usually see Sarah when I come in and she is so sweet and helpful. They do get busy but the staff try to work quickly and are friendly. Thank you for all you do.

I had a hitch with an order I sent that was mislabeled and I didn't notice that my return address was an old address. The package was delivered to the Rutherfordton post office but was going to be returned to me - at an old address where I wouldn't get it. I called Rutherfordton post office and explained that my package I shipped was at that location but being returned to me. They found the package right away and agreed to hold it for my recipient to pick up. The staff was extremely helpful and I am very grateful for their help.

We got a notification that we had several packages that had been delivered to the parcel lockers at the mailboxes in the community we live in, but there was no key left for us to get them out. We called the post office and were told they'd have someone go the next day to see what the issue was. A short time later, the Post Master, herself, showed up at our door with our packages and said she didn't think it was right for us to have to wait to get our packages! We were so surprised and so thrilled that she did this for us -- that's dedication! :)

After moving and turning in my change of address, someone dropped the ball and sent my checks to the Spindale address.
I found this out on the 14th, needing my checks to pay bills on the 15th, I was in a panic.
Leslie helped me contact the Post Master who went way far the call of duty and arranged for me to receive my checks by the 15th.
Anyone can make mistakes, it is how they are handled that makes the difference.
Kudos to Miss Leslie and Miss Tammy for a job well done!
They are both total assets to the Rutherfordton Post Office.

Staff was okay here. Sometimes it's very busy and other times not so much. I've only come here to send packages and bought stamps. Parking is very open and they have a couple of blue drop off mail box outside. We like our mail guy he's very nice and always smiley.

I have only lived here for about a month. So far we have been getting our mail and packages. We were told that mail service is awful here. So far it seems okay.

I tried calling to complain to a human but apparently you can do that anymore you have to talk to a robot so I'll complain here, in the last week we received 2 packages and they were both found in the middle of our driveway and I almost ran one of them over, not how my property should be treated

Update: the manager on duty was aggressive and downright nasty! She hung up on me. I stayed calm. There was no reason for her behavior. I understand the bad reviews now! The rest of the staff is awesome! Have never had a problem. Yes they get busy sometimes but it is what it is.

My rant for the year.
USPS has delivered my to my house for 93 years. The mailbox is to the left of the front door. There are 6 to 7 steps going up to the landing. Today they told us , by mall, that its unsafe and they will no longer be delivering our mail till we install hand rails or put up a mailbox next to the curbside. Ok fine ask us to put up rails, but stop delivering without any notice. So now we have SNOWFLAKE at the post office.the right way to handle this would have been to be an adult and ask us to install hand rails first. This has been approved for 93 years 16 years of my time here.
