Soul Food, it's no joke, real down to earth, ya moma in the kitchen, cooking up something special for the soul of every day living. Listen, keep this a secret, don't let it get out, or else you will not have that special place that you can sneak off to and get some real down home cooking. I'm talking about REAL stick to the bones cooking. Get the buffet. That's the real deal. Get more than you can imagine...eat to your hearts ❤ content. Why you'll be so stuffed that you will not make it to dessert. I didn't 😎 ha! ha!. It was all so, so, so, very good, you know. Listen, like I said, let's keep this place a secret. A lot of people are talking about them, even as I write this review. Patrons are pulling on the door handle, with that hungry look in their eyes. Check out my pictures, but know that their menu change frequently, so it's not static. Be especially kind to the staff. Tip generously for the food is Off the Hook! Your only disappointment will be that YOU didn't bring an extra stomach. Be kind to yourself and those around you. Hug them tightly, never let them go. Time is short, so please consider following me. Oh my the food was delicious everything we had was so tasty down home comfort food Unfortunately we ate most of it before we took the pic cause it was so good! So we had fried chicken mac n cheese baked spaghetti
Collards potato salad and honey bun cake restaurant itself a little dated but the food was A-1!

Some of the best food I have had in a while. It's super close to where we live, and they offer take-out. Prices are also not bad at all. Buffet had a lot of options, and we will definitely be back.

The food here is excellent. Fish and fries were fixed to order and not put out on the steam table. The atmosphere was very friendly and relaxed.

Love this place, best soul food around, I don't mind driving 30 miles up from Raleigh. The all-you-can-eat element gives you the chance to try a little bit of everything which I recommend that you do. The food is great of course, the people are very friendly, the turkey wings, smothered pork chops, and the turnip greens are my favorites but be sure to try the honey bun cake which is exactly what it sounds like. And hey, if you ever wanted to try pigs feet this is the place to do it! Don't let the modest accommodations deter you, everybody knows you don't get the best soul food at a country club!

This place is awesome, reminds me of my grandma's house! Definitely will return, the pig feet, turkey wings, corn pudding, and honeybun cake was out of this world!!

Good old fashioned soul food - cozy setting- clean neat eating area. Covid and sanitary protocols in place. Hubby & I had fried chicken & fish string beans rice & gravy cole slaw candied yams tea punch honeybun cake. We attended a birthday celebration here but have eaten lunch on previous occasions. This is a small business owner location

This restaurant is hands down the best soulfood restaurant in Henderson It is what it is. It's easy to ride by this place and never know the taste ur missing inside. I'm talking great food at a good price(All U Can Eat Buffet-$13 Premade lunch-$6 Burgers etc). This food reminds u of the grandma that knows how to cook. I'm not talking Bojangles, KFC, Taco bell, ect.. where u are hungry 1hrs later. After u eat here,u will be satisfied for half the day (now that's a fact)Give this spot a spoon full and you'll see this ain't no cap

Absolutely hands down one of the best authentic soul food restaurant I've ever had the pleasure of dinning at. From the time my girlfriend and myself entered into the restaurant , we were greeted and throughly explained the menu by a employee. I highly recommend this restaurant, some of the best soul food in the Carolinas.

We actually found this restaurant by accident but oh my goodness! This is a hidden gem and the soul food was delicious. Please note this is not your normal restaurant atmosphere. It's like going to Grandma's house or a big family reunion. And I wouldn't have it any other way!!! See you again soon!

This place right here ill come here anytime I never been here b4 but was on tic tok and and why not. I pull up u see a girl dancing out the door. Made me feel good. Man then I get in there smh this food here was like being at home made me want to smack my mama!!! It put a smile in my belly. 9/10 I'll b back

The BEST restaurant I’ve been to! We travel for work 49 weeks a year. Being in one spot for 2 weeks at a time. We’ve never ate better food. The service is excellent. I wish I could go over and over again.

Let's start by saying there's plenty of soul and a large amount of love that goes into making this food. I was very overwhelmed by the flavors coming out of this small restaurant, I was lucky enough to be in the area. Thank you all for making my first time experience to remember. If you're in area don't hesitate to stop in, trust me you won't be disappointed. You will leave wanting more. Stay hungry my friends, enjoy.

The BEST restaurant in Henderson!!! Food is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is warm and cozy!!! This restaurant feels just like you stepped in Aunties or Grandma's house and it's Sunday supper!!!

The atmosphere was nice. The food was delicious. I visited here while camping out at Kerr Lake state park. Will be returning again soon.
