I was first introduced to Kimberly at BOE after making an offer on the first home and the relationship was born. I dealt with Kimberly through pretty much everything and she was always there to answer any questions and to explain things so that I completely understood it. As part of my first home buying team, they made it a very pleasurable experience. When I finally had an offer accepted, there was never any doubt that I was in good hands. It was completely stress free and they genuinely cared about me and to make sure that the buying process went smoothly. On a scale of 1 to 10,I give Kimberly and Mandy a 10+. I couldn’t have had a better or more experienced team.
Thanks,
Scott Hogan

Erin Otto is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I knew ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about mortgage lending, she took her time, basically took me by the hand, and walked me through it, EVERY STEP of the way. I shared with Erin the happiness I felt in buying my very first home, because, there really was no one in our lives to share the good news with, at that moment, Erin became myself and my husband's friend. I told her other than The Good Lord, my husband and this little Shih Tzu dog of ours, you're the only someone I can share this excitement with. She then said, "she'd always be here for us". Am so very grateful for her and Bank of England. Other's said our situation was impossible, Bank of England proved them wrong.

God Bless all who may read this and we pray that your experience is just like ours or better.

To God, or whoever you follow, be the Glory.

God bless, God keep you.

Mortgage went quite smoothly, as smoothly as any mortgage can. Got the rate I wanted. The application process was a bit painful at times- not because of BOE, but because of all the federal requirements in place because of the prior industry wide incompetence combined with the public that second and third mortgaged their homes in the early and mid 2000s to get that bass boat they always had to have.

Awesome service. Parker made sure we got the home of our dreams. He was available to answer all our questions. He kept us up to date with the whole home buying process. Thanks for everything Parker!

Your commercials which are played periodically using former University of Arkansas football players are good. However, I think they would be more effective if you would remove the words "speed kills" and insert the words "speed wins". Speed wins in football and in mortgage processing.
Just a thought. The Speed kills conjures up to many negative images for a large segment of the population.

As first time home buyers my husband and I were very scared and very uneducated about the entire process. Our loan officer Myron helped us so much throughout the entire process. Day or night he was available to answer any and all of our questions. Couldn't have got our dream home without him and everyone there!

I refinanced with them one time before. I was supposed to get refund but upon deal closing nothing. They tried blame other bank. Said the bank messed up with paying my home insurance with my refund. So I trusted them again. Oh so this time I was told I would get a certain amount of refund but I didn't get the whole amount. Now they are saying I'm supposed to pay insurance with my refund. But promised so many eyes on my file. Should have taken some of those eyes off and put hands on it and made sure bank was doing what they were supposed to do that this would not happen AGAIN. So disappointed right now but what's done is done. All I can do now is fix the problem and move on. God won't allow me to be ugly about the situation. Just praying they be more careful with the next Veteran. Definitely won't be me again. But thank you for the rate which is why you got a 3 star instead of a 1 star.

We will never do business with them again. We did finally get the loan and our money but not without many glitches! Worst process for a refinance that we ever had.

My contact person was with Abbey. At first, everything seemed to go well considering my credit score of 740, verified income and assets (over $130,000 ) down payment of 15%. My price search ranged between $600,000 and $680,000. All the checks and balances met without any issues that is, until I was told the following day that the I have a “dispute” on my credit for $8.00 and $25.00 that’s right $8 and $25.00. She said these disputes are affecting my approval for $684,000. Mind you these are not late pays, overdue payments, delinquent or charge offs. Just a dispute regarding profile information. So these disputes according to Abbey caused their system to reject my loan unless I accept only $600,000 pre-approval with 140,000 down payment. Keep in mind, I already had to 2 pre-approvals from very reputable lenders for $684,000 with 15% down. The glaring problem was obvious…. Discrimination without a doubt. When I tried to have further discussion about the ridiculous nic picking Abbey ignored me and didn’t respond to my text. The house and location are not so friendly to people of color.

As a full time real estate agent/broker for 8 years, I must say that dealing with BOE mortgage was a disaster. It took us 2 months to close on my first time buyer's house and it was a complete dumpster fire. The communication between BOE and the Appraisal Management Company was atrocious and the AMC asked for at least 5 revisions from the appraiser, to the extent the appraiser had to call and complain and ask for clarification. The responses from BOE were often snarky and they screened phone calls by always "being in a meeting." My client felt hopeless despite always giving the company everything they asked for in a timely fashion. They switched the loan type several times and caused so much unnecessary pain and suffering for all who were involved in the transaction.

I used to believe that people got paid to do their jobs. Now I feel like at Bank of England right here in Little Rock AR. their Mortgage team gets paid to do as they please. Bait and switch. Wishy and washy! If your looking for a full time babysitting job Courtney Tate would be your guy. His communication skills are undeniably trash. He takes his time and is not first time buyer friendly. Courtney is very disrespectful to our agent. Every question she has asked him has had a very rude response or a delayed one. It’s as if he has it in his mind that he is lending money from his very own bank account. Unprofessional would not recommend.

If I could give a negative amount of stars for Bank of England Mortgage, I would give it at least a -10!! First, the lady who took our case quit and did not even tell us for an entire week. We were not contacted at all to let us know that we were being transferred to who was supposedly the branch manager. Then, the branch manager told us we were approved, and she set the closing date with our realtor. Then, 3 weeks before we were set to close on our house, she dropped us and said we were not approved. We had attempted to contact her throughout the entire time she had our information. There were times she didn't even answer the phone, unless it was my husband calling. She answered him right away, but didn't answer me when I attempted to contact her. After she had set our closing date, she told us there were some things we needed to get taken care of to make our loan work, and we did that. Then, she came back and told us we needed to do more, so we did. She still decided suddenly that she was not going to work with us. I would not recommend this place to anyone who actually wants to buy a house and receive info on what's going on throughout the process.

I would just like to let you know Bank of England Mortgage Company has been the most horrible place to do business with that I have ever seen. You have completely ruined a deal for my customer on their house they are trying to purchase because of the people working the deal not knowing what they are doing which in turn has possibly ruined the chance for me and my wife to purchase the house we have been wanting for the past 3 months. Tyler Reynolds is the one that was working the deal and should not even be working at a bank. He would be better off flipping burgers at McDonald's. To top it off the vice president of the bank Courtney Tate assured my customer that there would be no problems and he would get them there loan. They then denied them of their loan 2 days after the closing date that they missed for lack of communication and gathering information on your part. I am sure one person's opinion of the way you do business is not going to affect you whatsoever but I will make it a point to make sure that everybody I know knows exactly how horrible of an experience I have had with you all even if I have to post a weekly Facebook ad on it. Being in the car sales business will help me easily reach out to a lot of people on a daily basis.

Classic bait and switch--they quoted a competitive rate at 0/0 and then loaded on closing costs at the end as a result of their delays. I have been self-employed for 30 years and was promised a closing based upon the information provided in early July and I did not close until February! As a bonus, they added over $7,000 to my closing costs for their delay and never told me that these costs would not even be tax deductible since this was a re-finance! An absolutely horrendous experience.

The agent I worked with was always snapping at me (1st time buyer) and we never got the house. I've also sent them a check to pay for the appraisal. It's been 3 weeks now and hasn't come out of our account yet. When I called them... NOTHING!

The most horrible experience when purchasing my home my loan officer was Jamal he contiuesly asked me for ridiculous documents such as write a stament pertaining your $40 purchase from shoe dazzle on your bank account when it came time for me to close he outright lied and said the city was shut down do to covid so I could no longer receive down payment assistance when I called the city they said that was an outright lie it finally took my real estate agent to call and snap for everything to go through Jamal is completely evil and I will NEVER EVER recommend this bank!
