Also has a wheelchair accessible ramp for use to the public PS.DO NOT COME TO COURT IN PAJAMAS OR SHORTS DRESS FOR COURT
THE JUDGES SEEM TO FROWN UPON THIS

This courthouse is NOT handicap accessible nor ADA compliant!!!
Firstly there is no handicap ramp from the handicap parking to the sidewalk. The ramp leading into the courthouse is a steep grade and a solitary person cannot get up that ramp by themselves. There is no wheelchair, walker, or crutches access the courtrooms other than via the elevator which has a history of not working. The courtrooms do not have a sign language interpreter present for any part of the court process, and despite the volume of microphones and speakers the volume is kept low, making it difficult for people who are hearing impaired to have a clue as to what is going on and if their name has even been called. To my knowledge this courthouse and prosecutors make no effort to transcribe documents into braille for the bilnd, that is made the responsibility of the disabled.
In order to gain access to use even the most basic service such as video court to accommodate a disabled person, you must file a motion that requires approval by a judge.
