Family Health Care of Camden

Most recently I visited Family Health Care for an infected tick bite and for back pain. The nurse practitioners and nurses were kind and professional. The employees were especially understanding when I came in with back trouble. They waited patiently while I made my way back to the exam room. The ladies at the front desk are always pleasant and efficient. They look me right in the eyes when they talk to me, and they make me feel like they see me. I really appreciate that.

I absolutely love Dr. Cannady and the staff! Nothing but great experiences here. He and his staff go out of the way to ensure every question and or concern is answered/addressed. I definitely recommend this office to anyone looking for a great new primary care doctor.

I’ve been seeing Steve for at least ten maybe eleven years now and am so happy I was referred to his clinic. Jenny is a wonderful addition and a sweetheart. Staff are all great and so very kind, I wouldn’t think of going elsewhere. 5 Stars

My daughter had an appt today to have some blood work done, Dr. Cannady did an amazing job with her but I want to personally thank Brandi for the care she gave my daughter, she made sure she felt well enough to leave and also had her call back up to the office once she was home to make sure she arrived there safe..thank you soo much for taking great care of her!!

Love these guys!! They have been there every step of the way for my special needs child. They are very caring and thorough. Doctor peebles and cannady are awesome.

Unintelligent telephone staff. They need to be better at pulling up the patient’s chart when they have them on the phone. It would help them better understand what is going on with the patient. They hear, but do not listen. I called and repeated the same circumstance three different times to staff. Each staff member explained the information to the FNP differently, oftentimes incorrectly. At one point, I think they had the wrong patient, based on the staff member’s reply to me after speaking with the FNP. It had nothing to do with the situation at hand. I told her to look at the chart, etc. It was insanely difficult to get a small issue resolved when it should not have been.

Very kind, on paper 28th prescriptions that can do the job very capable has worked wonders with getting blood sugars under control other life saving techniques not willing to believe sometimes snake venom is sometime the only cure for the bite. Terrified to try his suggestion at a remedy when this is already working. No need to fix what ain't broken. His bedside manner is fantastic.

I had my first appointment at 2:30, scheduled my out of state vacation around this appointment. I arrived on time and was told my appointment was at 2 and I was actually supposed to be there at 1:30. Would have be nice for them to get the time right initially. They did not accommodate my appointment though this was an error in their scheduling. I left and will just get a new doctor. They weren’t apologetic, I was told to just come back tomorrow.
