Very good place to eat. Small and you may have to wait a little while but the food comes out really quickly and it is very tasty. The waitress was very nice and friendly and man she was moving quickly I think there were only 2 waitresses working the day we went. I got the pecan pancakes with scrambled eggs and bacon my friend got the French toast with bacon. I am excited to try some of the other things on their menu!! Definitely will be back. I love seeing it so packed, one way to know it’s good food.

Very busy for a Monday morning. Obviously, a local favorite. Eggs cooked perfectly. Like eating at grandma's.

Super cute spot for nice breakfast! The server was extremely friendly and helpful and even brought us real butter for our food. The eggs and even the chicken fried steak was really nice, but the thing that set it apart was the very homey vibe you get here. Cute decor and good food!

First time visiting Palestine for our anniversary, and this was our first stop for breakfast. Very small and neat place. Noticed all the locals knew each other. And it had that Down home feel. We knew we would be identified as not from the area and a couple of people pointed it out but made us feel very welcome. Food was great. You could taste the farm fresh in the sausage and bacon. Highly recommend. We need more places like this and less corporate juggernauts. Wish we had more places like this in New Braunfels. Will definitely return

They have the best breakfast in town and the service is outstanding! I go there almost every single day.

Small country cafe. Serving all our country favorites… Felt like my great grandmothers gatherings. They make room… folks who don’t even know each other sharing tables, creating conversation. A couple of elder folks that came in solo, were invited “by the kids” to sit at their table. Sweet. Wait staff extremely attentive. Prices very fair. Will go back. (Maybe the kids will invite me to sit at their table next time… it’s kinda where I belong anyway.)

Excellent food and service in a comfortable atmosphere. The coffee is wonderful! Down home-cooked lunch is served only on Sunday until 1:30pm. Better get there quickly!

We were in town for The Polar Express train ride. This breakfast from this small, unassuming restaurant was incredible. It was every bit of down home, southern breakfast cooking that you could want. Whenever we're back in town, we'll definitely be eating here!!

The food here is great. The wait is often long, but well worth it. It reminds me of a diner with a homey feeling. The staff is always nice and the food is always hot, fast, and fresh. This is my favorite breakfast place in Palestine.

I cannot say enough good things about the food I love going in there I'm on a fixed income and I can only go on there once a month but when I get paid that's a first place I go

Fun place for breakfast where all the locals go so you know it's good. The owner makes the rounds filling and refilling your coffee mug and everyone knows everyone, super friendly people.

We eat at this wonderful neighborhood cafe every chance we get. The hometown ambience is amazingly welcoming and quite cozy. Service is unsurpassed here in town. The menu is quite large and food is something you could expect from your favorite Grandma, ( The one who knew how to make everything better than anyone else you knew. 😉😊)

Excellent Home Cooked Breakfast. Wait staff comes around at the right times. Prices are lower then they should be for such great quality.

This place is small and cute and just what you need for breakfast. All the usual suspects on the menu - eggs, bacon, hash browns, grits, biscuits & gravy, pancakes and waffles. I had all everything except the pancakes and waffles, and it was all just great. My Mom had the breakfast taco and really liked it. It's a breakfast joint, not a brunch place (no mimosas), and breakfast held up. Definitely recommend.
