Mario's Mexican Grill

We were down in East Texas to shoot season 4 of The Last of the Giants. Mario’s Grill catered for us and it was fantastic!

The one day we had time to go out for dinner, we went Mario’s in person and loved it even more!

I'm not sure that we could have made a better choice with two other Mexican restaurants in this town.

Great food and service.

And, the restroom was clean!

She was attentive and sweet and got everything right. Can't ask for better. Only thing I wish had been different- the tables were WAY too close together and it felt like I was going to touch elbows with the guy at the next table

Had the 5 scoops of guacamole and was underwhelmed, some black spots intermixed and very small scoops. The fajitas were extremely good though, tender and very flavorful. They also have bottle Mexican sodas and drinks that were chilled well. My husband had the large quesadilla and it was very good too. The service was great as well as the atmosphere, will definitely be back next time we come to Palestine.

Food was wonderful! The wait-staff were super friendly and accommodating.
My daughter had the chicken enchiladas. I had the chili relleno with shrimp. Both were delicious! My tummy was full way before I wanted to stop eating.
Big portions were served ( even the appetizers were huge); we needed take home boxes at the end of our meal. My family and I will definitely be eating there again.

loved and loved Victoria’s service so kind and gave us her honest opinion about what we ordered..am definitely coming back more so for their tacos and drinks

The food was delicious but some of the staff were a bit rude. I get it that the restaurant was packed but that doesn't mean attitudes should be given. All in all, we will definitely go back. The food is WORTH IT!!

The service here never disappoints. They are so welcoming and friendly always with a smile. There food is great and reasonably priced and I love their salsa and chips. Reminds me of the little restaurant I worked at as a teen in north TX.

We dine in and take out as well. We have an amazing experience every time. The food is hot and delicious! Everyone is extremely friendly. My son and I love this little place! 💙

Very good food. I thoroughly enjoyed this visit. I like the choice of sauces. The margaritas were just right. I had a blackberry one. The chimichanga was expertly made. Yummy!

Excellent Mexican food! We've tried almost everything on the menu (between me and my husband) and we've never been disappointed. I especially love the enchiladas and the tacos dorado! And if you like salsa with heat, ask for the green sauce!

1st time going there & there was six of us. Everyone’s food was great, service was good, staff was very friendly, atmosphere was good & the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be going back.

Lunch was great, our experience is always good. Had the lunch beef fajita burrito with the sour cream sauce. It was amazing, the rice and beans were good. It’s been a moment since we’ve been, but always a wonderful to go.

Delicious food, amazing salsa & chips, and terrific, accommodating staff. I ordered the bean and cheese burrito with chili con queso. Fantastic!

We found this treasure traveling through East Texas. The parking lot was full, so we thought it might be good. Almost every table was full, but the service team was hopping! We were greeted, seated and given chips, menus and delicious salsa in 4 minutes. The someone else took the drink order and then the waitress appeared. There were so many wonderful choices on the menu. The hot fresh food arrived quickly and was excellent. Our waitress was friendly and fun. I highly recommend!

Great fried tacos among other Mexican treats. I highly recommend.

This is the best Mexican restaurant in Palestine. Always friendly and fast service. Everything we have eaten here is delicious. We will come back again and again.
