Great office, staff was friendly and attentive. I was in and out quick for a homestead exemption.

I'm not sure if this is the right site. I ran out of gas along I10 yesterday. I was on the last leg of a long trip comin' home. I'm disabled and my memory and logic are impaired. I stopped at a tax office for Goose Creek ISD. They acted nice. Offered me brownies and cheetohs. At the same time they had called the police on me and reported me as homeless!!! When the officer arrived we discussed the problem. I told 'im "Jeez, if they had just asked me to leave I would've." It's terrible that we all hafta be so cautious nowdays. I'm hurt that those ladies assumed the worst about me. I gave 'em no reason. I was neatly dressed; clean shaven; polite. What're you gonna do? Maybe they'll face the same situation someday. Hopefully, they'll meet someone more compassionate than they were to me!!!!!!
