Kott's Cafe

Went in for breakfast on 6/21/22 and it was great. Just good old fashioned country cooking like your grandma made. Huge pancakes, perfectly crispy bacon, fluffy scrambled eggs, homemade biscuits with some great jelly options with a heaping helping of down home country service with a smile and a little sass. Wife and I really enjoyed it and would highly recommend it to others if they're in the area. Give it a try, you won't be sorry.

I enjoyed the best hamburger I’ve eaten in months. The patty was thick and delicious. The burger was too big to fit in my mouth. I ate it open face. Onion rings were big and thick. I’ll be back.

Had the lunch special, salad hamburger steak mash potatoes homemade gravy, pinto beans and cake. Randi was our server she was awesome everyone is so nice here. Food was amazing felt like I was back at grandma's house.

Very, very, good food, it was a nice little diner, warm and cozy definitely will be going again.

Great service and good food. I got the chicken friend chicken and the gravy was amazing as well as the salad and mashed potatoes. Our waitress was amazing too! Great attitude and very knowledgeable about the menu and pricing. Come here if you want a home-style-cooked country meal in the sweet town of Anderson. Definitely will be back. Also super clean!

Nice little hometown restaurant. The food tasted great. If you get their special you get a lot of food. One of their specialties is their pie. We had coconut pie the day we visited. It was amazing and you get a big piece. Everyone was friendly and service was fast.

Great servers and just a good old fashioned Mom and Pops place

Very good! We were the only ones there for a little while. Very friendly waitress! Our tea glasses were kept full. Other people filtered in but the waitress continued to be attentive to us. The tea was very good, very fresh. Great job, Kott's Cafe!

Had a great visit to Kott's. It's a hometown greazy spoon, diner, dive...and proudly so. The staff is friendly, the food is homemade and tasty! Got the thick cheeseburger and onion rings. Coconut pie (meringue topped) and it was fabalous😁 Prices are easy on the wallet!

As usual excellent service with homestyle cooking and consistant quality of food. Great staff

The hard choices were between the chicken fried steak and chicken and dumplings. Home made pies too. Skipped the pies and went for the steak. OH MY goodness. Well worth the drive on a sun filled cool day in Texas, through hills and pastures of new hay bales neatly placed in the fields. What a day in paradise.

My old favorite burger place (in Giddings) closed. Hadn't been to Kotts for over 20 yrs...OMG the burgers! They're huge, fresh meat (really fresh), & good fresh veggies. You gotta be hungry. Family owned & run. April is the best wait person ever. Breakfast & lunch only.

5 stars from me , they have the best seasoned fries I've had in a long time. Great job !

Pulled in for a quick meal on my way out of town and the service was great the food was hot and very tasty and Even though they were very busy the waitress had time to smile and have a quick conversation

Lovely little family restaurant.
Everything was home made and tasted excellent. From home made tartar sauce to coconut cream pie. We will be back soon and bring friends.

The best burgers I have ever eaten!!

I can always depend on Kott's Cafe for a good home cooked meal. Ever since I was a kid, my family and I would go to Kott's for breakfast on a Saturday morning (while in town for the weekend visiting our family's farm). It was always a treat to get to go with my dad. This place is an institution in Anderson and worth every penny in food and service.
