Nueces County Tax Collection

My phone call was directed, correctly, from the main number to the Nueces County TAC. I got very clear directions from there as to how to change my auto registration from a different county. Every detail was spelled out clearly and patiently for me. I needed and appreciated this help which enabled be to accomplish the task by mail.

This place rules!!! I walked in 15 minutes before they closed and instead of telling me to come back tomorrow ms Amber helped me super courteously and let me keep her fifteen minutes late even. Give that girl a raise!!!

Replacement license plates
I had called earlier in the day to find out their business hours and was informed the office was open Monday thru Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm. As I walked in the door at 4:00 it was apparent they close at 4:00 not 4:30. Lucky for me I jumped in line just before the lady came out to tell the other individuals walking in they were closed.

I have suggested to Google their operatoring hours. Hopefully they get posted for others or the lady they talk with over the phone will continue to mislead everyone.

Their answering recording goes over and over with what department to connect to but doesn't connect to any department

The people in this office do not know what they are doing. They send out bills without knowing what they are for. You call and ask and say we do not know. Call again and they say ignore the collection bill from their attorney. I am being sent to collection for something I do not even own. Incompetent and unprofessional people.

Phone don't work. Can't get to any departments with their phone number

Never answer the phone when I call nor is there an email posted anywhere.
